I'm disappointed.

Found out today that one of the PCs who I had plans and plots and threads with was killed. Having read the thread in which they died, I can conclude the things they did were completely and totally shitty. So it's deserved. But I'm having very mixed feelings about it-on one hand, the PC deserved what came to them. On the other, I just lost a threading partner and someone who I called a friend.

As I keep rereading the lore articles for the Cytali and Nysel and Dreamwalking, I fall more and more in love with the mark. I'm going to see if Goss would be willing to do a modded thread with me at Nysel's tower and maybe look into having Adi become a Cytali. That would be incredible.

Ugh.

Well, on the lighter side-tomorrow is my birthday IRL. C: Here comes probably no party at all, because I have no plans.

It's been a looooooooong week.

I'm sorry to everyone who I've been threading with about my recent absence from Mizahar! There was a death in my family...my uncle, who I didn't know well but was a good man. It's taken me a while to get back in the swing of my daily routine and I've finally gathered up the inspiration to write some more.

Looking forward to NaNo in June! Kudos to Ablation for putting it together. ouo

This is my ragdoll cat, Squirt. She's ten years old and kind of a bitch but she is ridiculously fluffy.

So I had an interesting Fourth of July weekend.

Started it out well-slept in until noon, which was nice. Went out to spend the day with my parents, and we gawked at Joey Chestnut and his 61 hot dogs. My dad made mushroom risotto and bacon-wrapped seared scallops. Both were phenomenal. Mom made two-box cake, which consists of boxed white cake with orange Jell-O poured over it and then frosted with Cool Whip. It was also tasty.

Went back home later to a pleasant surprise. My roommate brought home a box of assorted fireworks. We thoroughly pissed off the neighbors.

Today I went to this bar called Happy Dog that sells hot dogs for five bucks and you can get just about anything on them. I had a beef dog with sloppy joe stuff, caramelized onions, coffe ancho barbeque sauce, and garlicky escarole green. Holy cow it was good. Their fries are perfect, too!

Went to Dave and Buster's after that and won like 2000 tickets. Good day.c:
