I don't know if anybody else gets this, but I hope so. I hope I'm not crazy.
Actually, I hope I'm not the only one who is insane, because I know I've gone crazy. Crazy for Game of Thrones.
I started watching it maybe a week or so ago, and it is officially the only thing I can think about. I literally eat, sleep, and breathe Game of Thrones. I will be eating my lunch and think "Wow, I wonder if Ned would be eating this if he were alive now?" Or I'll dream about flying a dragon around. Sometimes, I find myself mumbling "Winter is coming" after someone around me says something even remotely close to "Brace yourself."
I have a problem.
In all seriousness, though, I think I love the show so much because of all the characters. I love or hate each and every one of them. There aren't characters that I don't care about. Some shows have characters that are just there. This show, however, makes all the characters seem necessary. All of their stories are intriguing to me, and I genuinely
want to see more of them.
Not to mention that the change of scenery is refreshing. I like getting to know this new world. From the weird 9 yr long winters to the beautiful cities, from the fabulous clothing to the bizarre cultural customs...it is all so new, and all so awesome.
Anyway, if you are looking for a new addiction, I highly suggest Game of Thrones. Small warning, though: LOTS of mature content. It may be awkward to watch with your friends, so be cautious.
