Iasc didn't take his eyes off the piece of pottery as Guido showed it to him. It was small, yet strangely mesmerizing. He seemed to know a great deal about pottery and the making of it. He spoke enthusiastically and liked to share his knowledge. As with Iasc, he appeared to like explaining his loves in life to other people. Iasc was enjoying his crash course in pottery. There was nothing better than knowledge in his opinion.
He was still looking at the piece of pottery as Guido placed it on the table and, after a few moments, he turned his attention back to the youth. He gave a very interesting and amusing explanation of story-telling. Iasc couldn't help but laugh after he had finished. “You must you need quite an imagination and good bit of charisma to keep an audience's attention. I may drop by sometime to listen to a tale or two.”
Guido Faragas wrote:“So, tell me – do you earn a few coins from your mandolin playing as I do from my stories? And, do you compose your own songs?”
“Actually my main job is as a musician. I work in the other tavern here in Syliras. I got the job four days ago. I'm also thinking of possibly busking to bring in a bit more money as the job doesn't pay too great. As for my own songs.” He gave a nervous smile.
“I have composed a few pieces but I've never played them to anyone. I will soon though as I can't really play everyone else's music the rest of my life.”Suddenly, Isilla started to talk, startling Iasc. She complained she was tired, gave an obviously fake yawn and left the establishment.
When she had left, Iasc once again turned back to Guido.
“What a strange woman”, he remarked, smiling.
OOCThe tavern I mentioned isn't created yet but is on Dusk's to-do list. Just in case you thought I was making up a new tavern
