Adalia closed her eyes for only a brief moment, exhaling sharply. She was seated on an open patch of ground, Tempest sprawled out on her left. Legs crossed, it looked like she was trying to meditate...
Wait, that was exactly what she was doing. She had picked it up in Wind Reach, and she thought it may be interesting to try. Despite only being at it for a few minutes now, she was certainly realizing that it was not an easy task. Clearing her mind of all distractions was more difficult than one would actually think it was. As she tried, something would jump into her head. The worst was when that random thought was how she was trying to clear her head! Argh, it just annoyed her to no end.
Another calming breath passed through her lips as she tightened her eyes once more. Think of nothing. Slowly, the thoughts exited her mind, leaving her in a blank state of relaxation. Her breathing was slow and even, her muscles and her mind entirely relaxed. Everything was a blur to her... until Tempest let out a low growl to alert her.
Her eyes opened as thoughts and feeling rushed back into her head. Slowly, cautiously, she scanned the area in front of her. The scene was unchanged, so she was curious as to why exactly Tempest had warned her. Her hand found it's way to the Ivaski's flank, rubbing it with a loving care. Bored, she laid down, her head on the Ivaski's stomach in a strikingly adorable scene.
