Izuyanai Kokuryu Appearance Race: Kelvic (Peregrine Falcon) Gender: Female Age: 7 months Birthday: 8, April, 514 AV. Birthplace: Lhavit Appearance: In her human form, Izuyanai appears to be a young woman with long, straight black hair and dark blue eyes. She stands rather small at 5'5 but her regal posture and precise movements makes the fact go unnoticed. It can be seen that her body is built for speed though it possesses adequate power. Most of her locks are held back with a simple cord but a few strands escape to frame her face. A pendant of a blue gem rests at her throat. Much of the time, Izuyanai wears a guarded and alert expression that borders on cold. Her sharp eyes are always closely following everything around her. Izuyanai appears as a fierce falcon in her other form. Glossy black feathers feathers cover her back emitting a blue sheen. Her deadly black beak is dusted with light gold and strong legs end in curved talons. The feathers around her neck and chest are white, while the underside of the wings are decorated with thin bands of black. The falcon is sometimes known to keep the pendant with her. Character Concept Personality: Izuyanai is often misunderstood to be a very harsh individual, but she is as friendly as birds of prey come. She will be pleased to lend a helping hand and is fiercely loyal and protective of those she calls her friends. Around familiar people, Izuyanai can be a lively and reliable companion. However, she will not tolerate insults to her or her companions and can be quick to anger. Ethics: The most prominent code for Izuyanai is that she will fiercely protect anyone she deems worthy. She does not waste her time committing petty crimes or have any taste for cruelty. However, she does not believe in many of the rules of honourable combat. Whatever one is capable of doing to defeat the opponent goes. Likes: What this Kelvic enjoys more than anything is cheerful laughter. Good jokes and quick wit impress Izuyanai the most. A clever complement can never go wrong with this proud creature. Dislikes: Huge crowds and too much noise will have her scowling and in a foul mood. Character History Izuyanai had a rather peaceful childhood, as the city suggests. She spent much of her time observing the society and grew to admire the Shinya. She asked her mother to teach her the art of swordsmanship and practiced devotedly. She sometimes went hunting with her mother and learned how to use her natural skills and gifts. She often visited the libraries and schools in the city but could never finish a single book. However, she became fascinated with a particular form of magic. Izuyanai confided to her father who knew some thing of the subject and he agreed to teach her shielding as well as asking professional teachers to look after his daughter. Most of her time was spent flying among the peaks gazing toward distant lands trying to find something she could not see.
