'Inspira-' she thought, just before her mind went blank with surprise, or perhaps shock. Shikoba heard a growl pass through her mind, but there was no time to ponder what had just happened. She was handed a broken mop, the tip where the cloth should have been, turned into a crude weapon; sharp and pointed. Though she had no experience with a spear, she needed to defend herself. It would do the job. She grinned at the, "elbow as needed," and proceeded to attempt to imitate Sheshna's smooth movements and speed. The Chaktawe nodded, and followed as closely as possible, eyes darting this way and that as she concentrated on the task at hand. It would not do for her to die in such a place. As she swatted and smacked her way through the brawlers, she used her height and black eyes in attempt to intimidate the sober and intelligent ones out of the way, by glaring at them with the darkest expression she could muster, bearing her teeth in a fierce grin. However, those were too few, most caught up in drink or the violence, and so more often than not, she had to resort in using the quicker way to clear herself a path, striking heads, and driving her mop into stomachs with the blunt end of her hasty weapon, which was rather effective. Every now and then, Shikoba felt limbs striking her person, and gritted her teeth against the pain; elbows to the stomach, fists to her sides, kicks to her legs, and retaliated, resulting in cries of pain. Since she was not used to her make-shift mop-spear, she was not able to use it to it's full potential, the limited space adding to her difficulty. Her strikes did not have much force behind them, but she was almost lucky that such chaos quickly distracted those assailants. As they neared the exit, she noted one persistent fellow following them, a bloodied table leg in his hand. He was not small by any means, broad muscular shoulders displaying, well, muscle, his eyes seemed to carry a sense of frenzied blood-lust. Frantically, she called out to her companion, not turning her attention from the threat before her. At the same time, she felt the protective, but harsh presence of her Guardian in her mind, radiating discontent. oocSorry it took so long! >.< |
