Seeing Fox scrambling up from the ground, Aarias can't help himself but bend down and wrap a strong hand around his arm. Nearly pulling him off of the ground, Aarias helps him up. This warrior, sadly, still has to learn how to control his strength. Patting his shoulder, Aarias flickers his gaze to the sky, seeing a faraway falcon take flight into the air. Smiling, he starts to think of how graceful it must be to soar into the air. Being a bird, he concludes, must be quite a life. The possibility of this graceful falcon being a Kelvic never even crosses his mind as he thinks of 'a day in the life of a falcon'. Being able to perch on a tree, fly above the world and look down and also having feathers. Chuckling, Aarias turns his blue eyes back to Fox and helps him by clearing the dirt from his shoulders and then offering a strong handshake.
"Well met, Fox." The rush of feathers swoops past them and Aarias quickly locks onto the bird once more. Instead of being irritated by the sound, the warrior lets the unique call, the chi-chi-chi, sink into him. Air is sucked into his lungs and his relaxed eyes shut for a moment, the smile spreading across his face. Looking back to Fox, he shakes the man's hand and then adds more to their conversation. "Yes, everyone is rushing around trying to find supplies for their offering." His arm comes out, pointing to the flapping fabric at the nearby stall, "I'm heading over there - you're free to join me. I dare say that having some company on this joyous day will do me some good. I am Aarias Stormshadow of the Diamond Clan - Stormshadow pavilion." Seeing Fox's gaze turn back to the falcon, Aarias smirks, thinking he knows what the man is feeling, "Would you like to get a closer look at your bird? The elegance of a flying creature never pauses a moment to amaze me." His shoulder shrugging in the direction of the perched creature.
Studying the man before him, sunlight bouncing off Fox's black hair, causing the hue to change to a dark red in areas. Aarias, blinking, asks his next question with a collected tone, no longer distracted by the bird. Moving into the man's space, he wraps an arm around Fox's shoulders in a friendly gesture and leads him in the direction of the posted bird. "Do you live in Endrykas? If so, what clan are you a part of?" Scanning Fox's somewhat bulgy body, he tries and take in something that will lead him to know his friend's answer. A ring? Sash? Necklace? Anything... Smiling down at the fellow Drykas, Aarias soon lowers his arm, remembering that not everyone likes being lead around. Running a hand through his own long strands, he then ponders aloud. "What will you be making for the offering?" Chewing on his own lip for a moment, the Warrior seems puzzled on what he himself should be making.
Before long, if Fox doesn't change their direction, Aarias would indeed lead him to the post where Khida is perched. Glancing at her hooded face, he can't help but smile. "You truly are an elegant one!" He calls to her aloud, not even caring if it's just a bird. In Aarias' mind, she or he deserves a rightful compliment. "Do you see the hood the falcon has on?" Lifting up a hand, he makes a circle with a half open palm, not wishing to point and scare her away. "Beautiful ashen belly, sharp beak. Yes, she ... well, or he, is really a marvelous peregrine." Hoping that he is right, the Warrior straightens up a bit, peering up at the pole and waiting, watching as if something is going to occur. The sound of children screaming and playing comes to his ears but the warrior stands steadfast in admiration for the winged creature. "At least, I think it's a peregrine. Strong falcons. Yes, I am sure of it. Those bars on the belly and the hood... well, I hope my uncle taught me right or else I'm making a complete fool of myself." Chuckling, those blue eyes pan back to Fox, studying any reactions he might receive.
