Morphing training!

This lazy agricultural settlement rests on the swampy shores of the Middle Suvan at the delta of The Kenash River. The River's slow moving bayou waters have bred a different sort of people - rugged, cultured, and somewhat violent. Sprawling plantations of tobacco and cotton grow on the outskirts of the swamp in the rich Cyphrus soils, while the city itself curls around the bayou and spawns decadence and sins of all sorts. Life is slower in Kenash, but the lack of pace is made up for in the excesses of food and flesh in a city where drinking, debauchery, gambling, slavery, and overbearing plantation families dominate the landscape.

What is my appearance?

The city of Kenash was a beautiful city, and Jacques loved it. With all f the different people and the flora and fauna. and the exotice creatures. Especially the exotic creatures. As a morpher Jacques uderstood the risk associated with morphing. Forgetting who you really are, what you look like, being permanently changed. All of these risks seemed to elevate his excitement for morphing. Jacques thirsted to become a more powerful morpher with the ability to change into any animal.

Currently, Jacques had been limited to morphing partial body parts. Whether that be his hands into the paws of a bear which he had watched. Jacques was also able toturn his alfaces into those of others.

Leaving the main part of the city of Kenash, Jacques walked around searching to see any form of animal life that he might be able to study and then commit to memory.

Unable to find any trace of animal life(and mildly disappointed about it). Jacques returned to his small cottage in Kenash. Neither luxurious or amazing by any standards, it served only its purpose of housing Jacques and protecting him from the elemens. Outside the cottage, there stood two massive trees, each standing well over fifteen feet tall and gnarled with age. Bumps stood along the outside of the trees, and they looked as if they would barely support the weight of any individual who attempted to climb them. Leaves still clung tothe branches seemingly unhappy to give up life and their green color due to the coldness of winter. The bark of the trees was extremely thick, protecting it for many years against the elements. Grass surrouded the trees, even though it was only a small patch.

Walking out, Jacques was struck by the grandeur of the two trees. How they towered above him and seemed to reach into the very depths of heaven, with their roots deep in the ground. Thinking to himself,Jacques began to wonder if he could morph himself into parts if not the whole tree. Remembering the teachings of his old mentoe, Jacques realized that morphers were even able to transform their bodies into those of plants.

Excitement built in Jacques chest, as he began studying the tree, intent on converting every aspect of it to memory.

From past lessons in Morphing, Jacques remembered that he needed to memorize every inch of the tree applicable to his morphing. Starting at the base of the tree, Jacques worked his way up, searching every crevace for any quirks or knost that made the tree more life-like and original. Because of its age the tree was actually filled with gnots. Every few inches, you would find a gnot on the tree. Jacques rememered this, as he began moving his eyes upward now a few feet from the base of the tree.

At this point, very little had changed, but tree limbs now began to fill out the sides of the tree, along with leaves sill green from the summer in Kenash. Each of the lengths of the tree limbs varied, ranging from mature limbs of several feet to broken or new limbs less than one foot long. Still, the bark around the limbs was thick, several inches in most places. It was as if a chain-link armour covered the tree, protecting from both mother nature and man's touch.

Very little changed as Jacques eyes roved even higher, curious and wanting to take a closer look, Jacques grabbed hold of one of the branches and lifted himself up. Now inside the leafy protection of the tree, Jacques peeled off bits of the bark in order to study it more closely. Examining the shape and colour,Jacques was surprised to feel how durable it was in his grasp and the murky, brown colour of it. It was not easy to break, and it proved how resourceful the creators of the world had been.

Having Already spent multiple hours studying the tree, Jacques felt that it might be best to return inside, and come back the next day.
