She was taught the ways of the Akvatari by its residents, one Auntie Mia in particular. She was able to fend for herself quite well, learning how to hunt for fish and edible kelp quickly, and sought further enlightenment in the arts. Hearing music, observing sculptors, examining paintings and questioning writers in Abura, she found that she showed at least some level of training in all the arts, but could not fathom why. This caused her to start thinking about what happened before she woke up, where her parents had gone, who she really was, and who she was ultimately destined to become. Eventually, Eivl would learn that the names of the Akvatari were anagrams, and would begin worrying about the first word she thought of when she tried to decipher hers: Evil. As time passed however, she found herself living rather peacefully, with no indication as to the significance of the meaning of her name ever manifesting. Looking to her heirloom to try and find her memories, she took an interest in engraving after giving her piece of silver wire a long hard look and noting a pattern along its length, which when examined, resembled the bayou landscape of Kenash. Eager to find out about her birth parents and why they left her, she is looking to learn more about the city in order to apply for a job in engraving, if they had any openings. Language Fluent Language: Common. Basic Language: None yet. Poor Language: None yet. Spoken Behaviour: Eivl's casual speech is in a lowered tone, subdued due to her shyness and general aura of fragility. She can raise her volume when she speaks to the hard-of-hearing or wishes to seem more confident, but this increment is short-lived and does not hold up well under strenuous circumstances. She doesn't like raising her voice, and will refrain from doing so if at all possible. On a generally related note, she does not get angry easily, and when she does, she usually just stays silent until the person who angered her leaves or stops talking, in which case she would leave the room until she calms down. At that time, if the person is someone who truly mattered to her, she would pull out all the stops to make it up to them, blaming herself for the conflict. Often, and only if she believes it was not her fault, this is partly to cause a guilt trip, but given enough time, she'd forget about the whole ordeal even if the guilty party didn't apologise in the end. Justification: As she does not have many needs due to the durable nature of an Akvatari, she chooses to stay out in nature where she feels more easily inspired, on a cliff not many without flight capabilities can reach, sleeping on top of her chest to keep its contents safe. She is also a light sleeper due to her sharp hearing, and will wake up at any sign of danger. This unfortunately causes her to lose sleep, but it's nothing she can't compensate for on weekends.
