Laviku's Jewels is a uniqe pet and plant shop focusing on the beautiful breed of small independant fish known as Bettas. Located upon a rocky outcropping near the Northern Docks, the outside is marked only by glass orbs hung one either side of the door holding seaweed, bamboo, and moss with a singular betta swimming in each orb. When one first enters they are met with a massive fish tank filled with aquatic plants and koi and large goldfish. You can walk either to the left of the right of the great tank and the wooden partition behind it to enter the real store. The glass tanks lining the walls that keep the fish are bought at the highest expense from Wind Reach. Most smaller glass containers and panels are brought from Wind Reach, but Marle will usually make a biannual trip to Wind Reach himself to collect larger panes that cannot be brought via Wind Eagle. He also has befriended several Charoda traders that will bring him aquatic plant life and new stocks of fish from time to time.

Marle is a kind and sociable individual. He works with his customers to find the right sized tank, and plants to keep his bettas happy, even helps others if they wish to breed the fish or simply learn how to foster and grow the plants he keeps on hand. There are several tanks that always have 'not for sale' signs upon them, fish that Marle keeps for ghosts that grow attached to them. Though he has no experience in Spiritism, Marle likes to think he helps the Ghosts of Black Rock find a bit of peace with his tranquil shop.

Despite Marle's focus on Bettas, he sells goldfish, tetras, and hermit crabs in his shop as well, focusing on small creatures that one can tend to easily and that bring a bit of life to any home or residence.

Other: Marle lost his Pod when he was barely a teen in a massive typhoon, surviving by what he can only imagine were Laviku's graces. Rescued by Konti, Marle saught refuge on Mura and there learned how to heal his body and mind in the serene and beautiful island. There he learned how to take care of plants and fish, and found the uniquely beautiful breed of fish bettas, to which he now breeds and sells. Marle seeks to help the people and ghosts of Black Rock take peace where they can find it in the natural beauty around them, and keeps several tanks of his bettas specifically for ghosts so that they can watch 'their' fish whenever they please.
