Race: Human Nickname: Robin Gender: Male Age: 26 Birthday: 9th of Summer, 491 A.V. Birthplace: Sunberth
Appearance:
Standing at a little over 6 feet, Robinson was an individual with a lean scrappy build, he didn’t quite look like a threatening individual but rather one whom other’s tend to ignore. The man was quite average looking at first glance but had the type of appearance that grew on a person with time, like a small stone of peculiar shape that one somehow grows attached to. His fingers were calloused from constant use of the bow and also using a wood cutting axe during the days where he needed to take a break from his merc work. Character Concept
Robin is a silent individual, out of inexperience rather than any form of misanthropy or any attempt at isolating himself, in fact he quite enjoys the company of others even if he doesn’t talk much. He is a keen listener as a result of his relative silence, as to not seem rude and using small physical gestures to emphasize the fact he was listening. Other than that, Robin is a person who keeps his troubles to himself as Sunberth wasn’t a place where you’d share such things, as some people would probably use his concerns against him and that usually meant an ill fate of sort.
When it comes to lifestyles he is the sort to believe that you take only what you need, being trained as a soldier and a resident of Sunberth had taught him as much. He finds it annoying whenever others do not finish their meals or drinks, often citing that it is a waste of resources. Note that this does not mean he hates people who are wasteful, it just means he would look at them disapprovingly.
As one would expect, he was also the patient sort due to being raised as a soldier, it’s a trait he loved about himself, despite inadvertently aiding in his social awkwardness. It took a lot to get the soldier angry and even then he’d probably just give someone a glare, he often took joy when someone trying to annoy him scampers off in annoyance themselves. Character History
The history of Robinson Gilli is a typical one, a product between a drunken fling between his mercenary father and his 'courtesan' of a mother. It was an odd unity however, as the father; unlike so many men of his caliber in the city of anarchy actually had the decency to help raise his own spawn. During the 9 months it took to pop out the little tyke, Hjalgar Gilli and Mary Tenslin went through the motions of falling in love along with the anrachy of hormonal rage and bizarre food cravings.
Hjalgar became the breadwinner for the family since his significant other (for obvious reasons) could not resume her work as a self-proclaimed courtesan. All in all for a Sunberth family they were quite typical and lived quite modestly, though according to their friends and what family members they had the couple were quite eccentric.... Something young Robin could quite attest to as he witnessed his fathers odd obsession for collecting chicken bones and his own mother's unpredictable sleep schedule (According to her she hadn't quite recovered from her own son's constant crying through the night and endless curiosity as a tyke that she vowed to sleep whenever it suited her)
Indeed, despite the harshness of the city Robin's family found joy in each others' company and took happy moments to its fullest. Then came a day where Hjalgar decided to teach his boy the family trade; that of being a mercenary, truth be told it changed very little of their day to day lives as Father and Son trained in the wilderness with battleaxe and bow. During those trainings his father impressed upon him the mindset of a soldier, to keep to mission no matter what, and the mindset of a mercenary , you're loyal to whoever's paying for your meals currently, so that he'd always perform his fullest in missions.
And now today, in the current years the young Robin moved out of his parents abode and is now ready to carve his own path in the world, he just needs to find a good boss first.

Concept= Father of Robinson Gilli, Hjalgar is a man who came from a long line of mercenaries, although his family history is muddled and what is known comes mostly from word of mouth. Somewhat of an eccentric, he finds an odd joy in collecting chicken bones and coming up with the oddest of lies to explain why. As a parent he cares a great deal for his son more than he does the woman he fell in love with, which is no small measure. Retired from the mercenary business, he often spends his time moving about crates at the docks or chopping wood in order to earn the little income they need for him and his wife to survive.
Concept: Mary Tenslin was previously a self-proclaimed ‘Courtesan’ in her early days , now she is a middleaged woman scrubbing laundry for the louts of Sunbirth after having given birth to her son Robinson and settling with her lover Hjalgar. Mary is a simple woman, not stupid by any means but merely that she prefers doing things without any complications. Though like her husband she is an accentric of sorts; for instance she insists that whenever her former job as a prostitute is mentioned, that it be called ‘courting’ rather than what it really is, another quirk of hers is that she sleeps at odd hours thought out the day with the permanent excuse that raising her son during infancy had made her vow to sleep whenever she felt the need. As a mother she loves her son dearly, she and Hjalgar being one of the few happy families in a world filled with tragedy. Nowadays she spends her time telling stories to the children of Sunbirth whenever they aren’t up to mischief and resuming washing the clothes of others, content with the life she had lived so far.
