The Seafoam Statice 
Nestled within the various businesses of the West Bank is an establishment defined by a dualistic nature. Known as the Seafoam Statice, it is characterized by a relatively standard aesthetic that is the perfect illusion for the secrets housed within. As to match the overall theme of the city, its exterior is defined by a combination of bright colors that invoke a "coastal" feel; whilst its interior is the definition of organization. Upon stepping inside, guests are greeted with the sight of numerous shelves arranged to form neat aisles up and down the storefront. Here, a modest assortment of general goods may be found for purchase; all at a fair price. Whether it be nonperishable edibles, lightly used garments, tools, or anything in-between, the Seafoam Statice is sure to have it in stock. However, upon "closing" just after sundown, the business reveals it true face.
At this hour, the goods and services available for sale take on a much more illegitimate flavor.
Upon stepping forward to the counter, a patron is encountered with a wide variety of choices. They can inquire about purchasing items of questionable origin, such as jewelry; but must be willing to cope with the consequences of the item being potentially stolen. In addition, those in dire straits have the opportunity to make a quick miza...as do those who have illegally obtained "hot" merchandise. For these patrons, simply bringing to the counter their valuable objects will result in a swift and easy payment; accomplished through one of two means. The individual will either petition a loan from the establishment, using their items as collateral, or simply sell the goods outright. Of course, the condition of the items, the challenge of re-sale, and the necessity of turning a profit has led to a general trend: expect, at most, only two-thirds of what you paid for the item.
Both halves of the Seafoam Statice's business model allows it to cater to a particular demographic of customer. During the day, it is the perfect place for the average Freeborn to pick up common goods...but when night falls, it is the perfect fence for patrons of the Midnight Market seeking to make a quick miza. For this reason, the establishment is somewhat of a household name to both demographics! At the helm of this daring enterprise is a portly man by the name Gaius. Having once made a living as a merchant of the seas, he settled down in Kenash in order to attempt his hand at business. Jolly and fair, Gauis does his best to make sure that every customer that walks through is door is greeted with a fair deal and an even better price.

His trade was originally that of a simple dockhand, but his keen mind and silver tongue quickly landed him a spot upon a merchant vessel. There he spent numerous years, learning the trade of bartering goods. As age came upon his bones, Gaius decided that the demands of such a life were too high for him to handle any longer. To this end, he ventured to Kenash in order to put his decades of experience to good use. Any item can be sold or pawned at this location.
If an individual would like to pawn an item, the total loan amount will be equivalent to its total value on the price list. However, if the loan amount is not paid back by the conclusion of the season, the item will be retained by the store and will then be available for re-sale by PCs.
Likewise, if an individual would like to sell an item, the total amount will equivalent to 2/3 its total value on the price list.
During the day, the merchandise for this establishment is primarily clothing, tools, non-perishables foods, etc. At night, these items are available with the addition of larceny-specific items, narcotics, and even weapons. Specialized merchandise such as magical equipment and medicinal items will not be available for sale here. Please refer to the price list for the total costs of items.
