Lynx could no longer help the laughter that once more returned, the laughter erupting from the inside and bubbled to her lips. Her arms laced around her stomach and she doubled over, not for the first time that day. During this encounter with this woman, she had laughed more often than she had expected to, especially seeing as she had originally been frustrated. When she had first started out on her journey to the beach, she had expected that some kind of calm from the sound of the waves would help her find some kind of happiness. Never did she expect to run into someone who was as stupid as they appeared to be. The stranger just couldn’t seem to be able to blame herself for her own actions. Now, Lynx wasn’t an expert on saddles, but to stay on the horse, it would have to be tied on somehow wouldn’t it? If it was then tied on, wouldn’t it have to be tied on tight so that it wouldn’t fall off? Snipe and shadow jumped up, to dart around their mistress before running off towards the gently rolling waves. Shadow plunged into the waves first, like normal, as he was generally the fastest out of the two. He snapped at the waves, while Snipe soon joined in on the fun.
The lethafal soon straightened up her posture, brushing back her white hair, her violet hues watched the black dogs for a moment, a gentle smile curving her lips. Ah yes, she had almost forgotten about the entertainment that her own dogs were able to provide her. The loyal beasts were always bringing a smile to her lips, whether it be Shadow and his small little adventures or Snipe, cozing up to her for pats and to rest his head upon her lap. They were the opposites of each other and it humoured her to say in the least. Lynx would never regret the mizas she spent on buying them. She angled her head as her violet hues flickered to view the woman to the right of her. This woman was ignorant, she most definitely could not find fault in herself, it was as if she thought that she was so perfect that if something happened, it was most definitely not her fault. Those type of people tended to irk Lynx something shocking and she hated it with a vengeance. Why couldn’t people just realize that they were the problem? The ethaefal was beginning to realize that no matter what she said, the stranger’s head would remain buried in the sand. While she did feel the pull to use more hypnotism upon the stranger, she could also feel the tired feeling, pulling at her was well.
Angling her head, she turned her gaze back to her dogs, watching them as they darted away from the waves to run back over to the horse, their tails wagging as they barked at the horse. A giggle rose to her lips as she shook her head, they were very persistent. ”Snipe! Shadow! Come back here, that’s enough!” Shadow gave one more bark directed towards the horse before the two ran over towards her, circling her form before sitting back on their haunches, their tongues rolling out to the side of their maws as they panted. To Lynx, they appeared to be mocking the girl themselves, but she couldn’t be too sure, for she couldn’t read the minds of the animals, even though she had found on numerous times that she wished she could. Lifting a hand to rest upon Shadow’s head, she angled her head to the side, before a shrug of her shoulders was given. ”I can see that there is no point in trying to get you to see the error in your logic, for you would rather that your head remains buried in the sand.” A smirk would curve her lips then, as she looked back towards the city. ”I have a job to do, one that does not involve trying to reason with someone who is too bull-headed to see.”
