opal's fishing adventure

Postby Opal Seastride on September 17th, 2014, 3:07 pm

Opal was sailing on the sea not to far from Zinrah and she would drop her anchor . She was one hundred meters off the shore and she would let her net fall into the ocean. While she was waiting she used her oceanus to put some water in a few pots and would start a small fire to heat the water up. Once the water started to boil she would walk around her ship and her tavan would be doing the same but on the outside of the ship. Once she had walked around the ship several times she would go back to the edge of the ship. As she got to the edge of the ship she would sit down and let her feet dangle off the side. She looks down an see's her tavan and would command him to go chase fish into her net so that they could eat.

It would be about mid-day and she was waiting on her net to fill up so she could pull it up. Once the net had gotten full she began to use her oceanus to push the net on the ship. She would then carfully open the net and would grab a few handfuls of fish and would cut them a few times and throw them back into the water. Once the fish would hit the water her tiger shark would them eat them.

Once her tiger shark had eaten his share of the fish she would put a few of them in the water ad begins to boil them. As she boiled them she would grab some salt and a few chili peppers and would begin to cut the chili peppers up and would slide them into the boiling water with the fish. After an hour of cooking the fish they was finally ready to be eaten she would grab a wooden plate a fork and a knife a. She would walk over to the pot and would put a few fish on her plate an goes to sit down and would smiles and would spread her thank you to Laviku her god.

After saying thank you to her god she would then begin to eat her Spicy fish and would occasionally go toss another fish into the water for her tiger shark to . She would spend about 45 minutes eating her fish and feeding her tavan. After eating she would command her tavan to come to the edge of the boat so she could ride him for a while. Once she got in the water she would grab onto her sharks fin and it would swim around the ship and would dive underwater to show her what the sea life is like.

opal's fishing adventure

Postby Opal Seastride on September 22nd, 2014, 7:29 pm

After a longs day nap opal would finally wake up and begins to stretch and yawns a bit. She begins to walk up her steps and would reach her deck where she had her fishing net and bait waiting on her to use on a sunny morning. She grabs her fishing net and checks to see if it has any broken lines or damaged line. She was thankful she didn't have any broken or damaged line.

After inspecting her fishing net she begins to walk over to where her bait was and grabs a handful. She tosses the net in first then tosses the bait in. She would whistle one good and loud time and her tavan would swim up to the side of the boat. She bends down and rubs it head " Are you going to be good for me today and help me fish?" She asks as she watched the net with one or two fish in it. Her tavan would dip its head back in the water and would swim around the ship a few times chasing and scaring the fish in the net.

While the shark was doing that she would go below the deck. Once she had gone below deck she finds her a pot and some rope. She ties the rope on both sides of the pot. She lowers the post into the water and lets it get full about half way with water. Once it is half way full she pulls the pot back up and whistles once more. Her shark would swim back to the side of the ship. " Do you want to help me get to land so I can cook me some food?" She looks down at the shark and would climb down and get on its back holding the pot with some fish in it.

The shark would then take her as close as she could get to the shore line. Opal then climbs off of her tavans back and would stay close to the beach. She sets the post on the shore line and would go a few feet in the jungle and grabs a few handfuls of sticks and leave. She would then try to start a fire. After a few attempts she had the fire going and would set the pot in the middle of the fire. She looks back at her tavan and notices that she is still chasing fish into the net. She whistles two times and the shark stops what she is doing and goes back to the shore line.

" Want to help me get to the ship real quick?" she asked as she climbed back onto the sharks back. The shark would swim back to the boat so opal could climb back up. Opal would then climb back up the side of the ship and tries pulling the rope attached to the net. Her shark would notice she needed help so the shark would push from the bottom of the net. Opal noticed about 20 medium sized fish . She then reach's in the net and grabs five of the medium sized fish and tosses them back in the water for her tavan chase and eat the fish.

Opal whistles once more and her shark goes back to the side of the ship. Opal would then climb back onto the sharks back holding onto 3 medium sized fish. She would then tell her tavan to take her back to land. Once her shark had gotten close to the shore line once more for opal to climb off with ease. Opal would then walk over to the fire and drop the fish in the water for her to cook them.

Several hours goes by and opal would check on her shark an the pot of water. It was five chimes past mid-day . Opal once again checked the fish and they was done . She whistles once more and her loyal tavan swims yet again as close as it could get to the shore line. Opal yet again climbs back up on her sharks back. "take me to my ship once more please." After saying that to her tavan her shark would swim back to the ship.

Opal climbs and runs across her deck looking for a plate and fork. She remember they are below deck> She then quickly runs below deck and grabs a plate , a fork , and a knife and quickly and carefully walks back to the side of her ship. She looks down and notices her shark is still there, she would grab two more medium sized fish and feeds them to her shark. Once the shark had gotten done with eating the fish Opal would bend over and looks in her tavans eyes. " Take me to land and this is the last trip " She says to her tavan and climbs on its back for the last time of the day.

Once opal had hit land she ran over to the pot. She had used her fork to get all three medium sized fish and would put them on her plate. Once the fish was on her plate she would praise Lahviku and thank him for a wonderful meal. Once she had praised her god she would begin to cut the fish and clean them. Once they have been cleaned she would begin to eat. It took her some time to eat the fish.

Opal had laid back and looked up at the sky watching the cloud's. She asked herself " What would it be like to be a cloud?" She laid there and began to think and think some more. After about an hours worth of thinking she would get back up. Opal looks down both sides of the beach. She saw no one so she would run down one side. She run for about an hour. She looks around again begin careful that no person or thing see's her.

She had gotten lucky that no creature or person saw her. So yet again, she ran back down the opposite way she ran before. She had spent two hours running around the beach. She had fount some drift wood a old rusty knife. She goes back to where the fire was and she walks back into the forest a little deeper this time. She grabs a few more handfuls of wood and very small logs. She tossed a few of the small logs onto the fire and would sit back down and looks up. She didn't notice that it was getting late. She listens carefully and she could barely make out that it was 8 chims past mid-day.

She then lays back down and closes her eyes and listens to the ocean waves and the bird calls. It took about half an hour but once it had pasted Opal fell a sleep on the beach not meaning too.
