25 Fall, 514AV
Syna shone down upon Zeltiva with her golden rays as the shore was washed by Laviku, sending sprays of foamy water into the air, making the city moist. A single frosthawk flew through the air from the direction of Syliras, wafting through the air as her strong, brown-feathered wings battered the air beneath her to give her slightly more lift. She glided along, descending as she flew over the city's walls, curving down one of the streets as she glided along. The people that roamed beneath her probably wouldn't bat an eye brow as she flew over, perhaps not until one of them were struck by the opaque liquid that fell from the bird's rear down carelessly onto the street. It wasn't uncommon for birds to randomly drop poop from the sky onto people around here, given that it was a coastal town that likely had a few flocks of seagulls mingling about.
The smell of something sweet sitting on a windowsill drew Claire's nostrils and her wings bent, swerving her towards the open portal as she flapped some to slow her descent until she came to a rest upon the windowsill, her wings folding to her body as she came to a rest. She looked down to her talons, where a freshly made pie sat, crafted of wheat and apple and dusted with sugar. It made Claire's stomach rumble slightly and she bent down to take a nibble, but she was stopped in short time. A broom flew from out of nowhere and struck the upside of Claire's beak, the force tossing her out the window. She was stunned for a split second as she realized that the housewife who had made the pie had just took out her anger on the broadside of her face. She fell for a few feet before her wings extended, catching the wind but not quite quick enough. She turned and glided, striking the side of a building with her shoulder and collapsing to the ground.
Wounded and hurt, the hawk scrambled to her feet, folding her wings onto her back and shifting, into the naked form of a female human with long, silver hair and powder blue eyes. The woman was stark, limping down the alleyway and holding her arm, whimpering in pain as she felt the bruise forming upon her shoulder bone. She found her way to a bunch of crates piled up against the wall and slumped to the ground beside them, still whimpering as she slid to her bottom. Her arm ached and her stomach still rumbled, worse yet she had no clothes and she was now in a new city that she did not know. She could only fear what might come next...
