Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Suresslynn looked up with a start at the swear from Laskar, then helped him back to the ground and listened to his instructions. "All right, here we go." she said, pulling out the short sword and handing it to Lasken before unwrapping her coat. "Hold still or this will hurt more." she said, before snapping the bone back into place. Looking at it, the Dhani wasn't quite sure she had done it right, but it looked good enough for now. "You might want to have an experienced doctor take a look at that when we get back to town." she said with a faked grimace. She would never have admitted it, but the notion of the man being in pain the whole trip back amused her a good bit, though she tried to bury that part of her mentality so it wouldn't show.

[Lavender Ruins] A new place to explore

Postby Lasken Tolstoy on September 9th, 2014, 7:31 pm

Lasken took his Shortsword from the girl and held the blade tightly in his palm cutting into it and started to draw upon his djed and released it as he slowly moved his hand up the length of the blade with it effectively becoming red hot. He then gave the sword back to the girl and said " please try not to hurt me too much, oh and if you have anything to drink after your done with this that would be nice" Lasken then clenched his teeth and braced himself for the inevitability of what would come next.

Suresslynn simply watched as Lasken took the blade and used his magic to heat it up. She'd seen magic a few times after she'd left home, but she didn't really understand it that well, nor did she have any of her own beyond the inherent ability to switch between her Dhani forms. After he finished heating the sword up, Suresslynn took the sword and slowly ran the flat of the blade down the man's wound, watching with some surprise as the burning hot sword apparently stopped the bleeding. "Well...that's impressive." she said, setting the sword down next to the man. "Once that cools down, I'll get you up on my horse...or do you have one of your own somewhere? Either way, we'll get you out of here." she said, before glancing back at the remaining chest. "Right...let's see what's in that." she said, reaching over and opening the chest to look inside. "Huh. Empty. Oh well." she said, re-wrapping the man's leg just in case before putting on the coat she had found. "Oh...I never introduced myself...I'm Suresslynn, from Ahnatep in Eyktolia." she said, holding out a hand.

"Don't actually have a horse I prefer walking keeps me on my toes, anyways nice to meet you Lynn, I'm Lasken, from Riverfall but most know me as Lasken the silent, and I must say Lynn I'm very fortunate you came by when you did who knows what would of happened if you hadn't been here. Anyways If you would be so kind as to take me back to my apartment in the city I can probably get this cleaned and get some proper bandages" Lasken said as he shook her hand

Suresslynn blinked as Lasken somehow managed to guess her given name, then realized that "Lynn" might be a natural shortening of "Suresslynn" for races and cultures with names that were too short to really say anything about their family. "All right, let's get you up then." she said, getting Lasken on her horse without an overabundance of difficulty from her troublesome mount, then picked up Lasken's sword and handed it too him. "Lets get going." she said, taking her horses reigns and leading the way out of the ruins and back to the city.

Lasken gave Lynn directions on how to get to where he lived and then took on the perpetual silence everyone knew him by, the peaceful perpetual silence. Lasken thought silently to himself, random thoughts, she probably doesn't even know what race I am no one ever really knows what I am or figures me out this hat covers my entire face, eh but that's the way I like it......

Notes :
A word of advice, I strongly recommend you two write more content in your future posts, especially for threads that yield loot in the end. Most mods are not nearly as forgiving and will ask for you two rewrite or add things. It is a personal pet peeve of many of the staff members, so beware. I spoke with Nightmare though and we agreed to let it slide this time around.

A second issue was how Suresslynn managed to snap Lasken's bone back in place with no medical knowledge prior whatsoever. This is completely out of the question and while I won't force you to rewrite anything at this point, I did deduct 1 point from Medicine as a penalty. Wrapping his ankle was a much more reasonable action considering skill level (or lack thereof) so I awarded 1 point for that.

Lastly, seeing as how you've been inactive for almost 30 days Lasken, I am withholding your grade and loot until you return. Just send me a PM and I will have your rewards up and ready in no time.

I hope I was clear and fair, but if either of you feel I wasn't please don't hesitate to PM me with questions, comments, or concerns! Also, remember to edit your grade request as "graded."

Cheers!
