He has short, dark hair, always shaved close to scalp that is just beginning to grey with age, and eyes of bright gold. He keeps his facial hair short and trimmed. He is still in good shape, keeping up with the ideals of his race. Character Concept: Morkanu, and his darker half Kurnoma, are very inquisitive and curious souls. They've spent over three and half centuries together, and have found harmony with one another. Morkanu is quite friendly, jovial, makes friends easily, and enjoys social events and outings. Kurnoma on the other hand is quiet, prefers to keep to himself, very rarely makes friends, and prefers the company of none. The two balance each other out, sharing the same pursuit in life. They've traveled far and wide over Mizahar, seeking any information about the world before their time, particularly before the Valterrian. They seek out ancient writings, ruins, sages, anything related to the past. Character History: Morkanu was born and raised in Riverfall, by his father Morkender. His dark brother appeared at a fairly young age, before his Rite of Trial. The pair had their differences, but always managed to work them out and never get out of hand. They flourished like many of the young men, but there was one thing that stood out as seemingly strange. They would often times get distracted by a seemingly random and mundane object, story, or person, really anything that struck their fancy. Once this happened, they would dedicate much of their time finding out all they could about this, often bordering on obsession. And once they were done, they would appear much more relaxed, content, and could once more resume normal duties and trainings without distraction. Shortly after completing their Rite of Passage, Morkanu and Kurnoma managed to sire a daughter with a Konti woman after many years of trying. The mother and daughter left for Mura to raise the child, and with that, the Akalak left Riverfall in order to explore more of Mizahar, constantly chasing more curiosities. They returned to Riverfall in 342 AV, and successfully sired two sons from women who died during childbirth. The sons were named Morkeili and Kurnestere. He remained in Riverfall for another seventy years. He raised his children, passed on what he knew, raised them into proper Akalak men. Then once more, he left, to explore more of Mizahar that he hadn't visited previously. He now resides in Zeltiva, continuing his journey of learning and understanding. |
