Javeya drifted, just simply drifted as she often found herself doing when she had slipped into her ghostly appearance. Although, she drifted back toward Kenash, where she would probably find herself heading back to the Blacksugar Distillery and spend a few days there just… Doing nothing. It was what she was best at doing ever since she had died, seeing as when she interacted with living people, it only scared them. She didn’t even keep pets, mostly because her very presence sent them running. Goneszh’s words rang within her mind, that ghosts could leave this existence behind, just fade out and start a new existence. However, her promise to Nick to stay alive as best as she could in this realm also rang within her mind. She couldn’t leave… It was why she had stayed when she had been wavering in the first place, because Nickolai had asked her to stay, to live in this realm the best that she could. Her shoulders drooped as she continued to drift. Goneszh had also said that why be sad when she could move on, start a new life, leave all of these painful memories behind. No... No she couldn’t think like that, she owed it to Nick to keep her promise to him, even if it did hurt to remain.
She saw something, but she turned her gaze away the moment that she realised that she was now located upon the glass beach and she slowly turned to view the ocean once more. She wanted to cry out, to scream, but the last time that she had done that, was just before she had died and it hadn’t done anything to help save herself. She felt tired, a lot more tired than she normally was, something she hadn’t felt since she was alive and she had a feeling it was because of the simple fact that she had exhausted herself while possessing Goneszh. The one man that she hadn’t wanted to send to his death bed at the ocean, the one man that had been kind to her. She turned back towards Kenash and began to slowly move once again, as she sighed softly. She just… Her mind spun around and around in circles, even though she knew that she had to hold on, for Nickolai’s sake, it just spun in circles. Around and around and around again. It was endless to say in the least, but she just could not help it.
Finally she spotted something that looked like soul mist and she stopped when she spotted the snake holding this soul mist look-a-like in its mouth. She blinked, as the snake rose up in front of her and she couldn’t help but think of that as odd. Snakes were… Well, from her knowledge dangerous… To a living being of course seeing as their venom could kill, she was dead so she didn’t think that she had to worry about a snake bite, especially seeing as she was too tired to materialize. The snake continued to wave this soul mist look-a-like back and forth in front of her and her icy blue gaze just couldn’t help but follow the path. Was it soul mist? Or was it just a stone? Or was the snake just taunting her and this was some figment of her imagination? Was she just finally going crazy? Suddenly, she had a happy feeling explode inside of her being as she realized that it looked like a treat, a treat that Goneszh had previously given to her. She reached out, only for her fingers to pass through both the snake and the rock that look like a treat and a sigh fell across her lips.
Her gaze drifted back out to sea, no she had seen him drown, it couldn’t the trea... That thought drowned off as she frowned and looked back to the snake, only Goneszh knew about the treat that they had shared, so why was the snake holding something that looked like a treat? Finally her eyes widened and she shook her head, soft whispered words finally parted her lips. ”Goneszh? Goneszh is that you controlling the snake? Or are you… Are you… Did I really kill you and you possessed this snake?” She honestly felt stupid talking to a snake although she wasn’t really sure as to whether he was possessing the snake. Could it be possible that she had accidentally killed him and he had come back as a ghost only to possess this snake? Wouldn’t it be easier to just simply talk to her in a ghost form? She closed her eyes, no he couldn’t be possessing this snake, but maybe… She cast her gaze down the length of the beach as she began to wonder if he was alive and somehow controlling the snake to send her a message to help him.
