Adrien Strade Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 18 Birthday: 13th of Fall 496AV Birthplace: Zeltiva Current Location/Starting City: Sunberth Appearance: He’s a young man with pale blond hair which he has dyed to black when he came to Sunberth. He has pale skin and lightning-blue eyes. He has a scar on his neck, just above his throat and the story of its origin changes every time someone asks about it. People never see him without the silver ring in his ear which he claims is a lucky charm. He has a lean body and is about 5’9” in height. Character Concept Adrien finds people generally interesting and amusing. He’s the type to observe how one person’s reaction may differ from another. He’s also the type that’s likely to play around. Although he appears carefree and childish at times, he’s actually the sort to hide things behind a smile. It is unusual for him to act sad or serious even when he actually is. He does get moods when he would really be serious. He shows unusual reactions to situations at times which has managed to get people mad before. He also has this habit of saying things without thinking which has gotten him into trouble many times before. Though, he does try to be polite if he can since it makes people underestimate him. He knows that the city is a dangerous place and knows to watch out because anyone could do you harm. He’s a good listener though don’t expect him to keep the information to himself if he’s offered a price for it. Of course, most people wouldn't expect that the carefree adolescent is the type to do that. He also likes talking with people as that gives him a chance to observe them more. Also, due to the fact that he wasn't originally from Sunberth, he is more open to the idea of magic though he knows the danger of even saying that in this city. He doesn't really worship any gods and still questions religions up to this day. Character History Adrien was originally from the city of Zeltiva. His parents were merchants who shipped goods to sell. In one of these trade expeditions, their ship was sunk and Adrien was left an orphan with no one to care for him. Convinced that his parents might still be alive, he stowed away on a ship and ended up in Sunberth when he was about twelve years old. In this new and much more dangerous city, Adrien had found himself in trouble. He wasn't used to the lawlessness in the place but he adapted and found his way to the orphanage in the Sunset Quarters. He learned how to fight and how to escape just enough in order to survive. People speculate that he got the scar on his throat during these times though no one but him really knows for sure. His skills in observation and gathering information seem to help a lot especially when he’s trying to win a fight against a stronger opponent. After staying in Sunberth, he has also gained some experience in lying. He also learned to steal when he needs to. After getting used to his life in Sunberth, it seemed as if Adrien has forgotten about his search for his parents. He seems to enjoy the freedom he found in Sunberth a lot. He’s the sort of person to joke around with people despite the risks it carries just to do more observation.
