It was with a thoughtful composure that she followed in the Wizard’s wake, arms clasped behind her back in a semi-scholarly fashion so as to begin to build some form of foundation to their interactions – the way in which others perceived them. There was a small frown at the thought of these ghostly entities, she didn’t much care for their kind. Her experience for the most part had been of them trying to eviscerate her, and the others whom had been driven to that roof in Sunberth so long ago now. It was partly that fear and distaste that had prevented her from seeking out the other ghost woman…from that old family now long dead. There was Lucerne’s Lodestar…but she had been reluctant to explore it.

Something to look into perhaps should I ever return. I am more prepared now, more in control of my fears of them she told herself as they stepped into that portion of their path.

As it went this Courtyard he had spoken of was disturbing yet still safe enough, the shrouded mists ceased at the pathway. She had the notion that should she stray hen it was likely she would not survive the decision made but just so long as she was wise enough to follow upon the lain out, worn stone she was safe as houses. Whatever shielded them did not stop the chattering though, the pleading and threatening. The hissing and whispering. Some were violent and vulgar, she dealt with those as if they were a raving drunk. Others were more insidious, pretending to be children in need and more. Those were more difficult to shake off and as she thought the crawling upon the back of her neck was becoming unbearable, as her jaw ached from the clenching and her brow from the frowning, they broke through and back into the Citadel’s tomb-like rooms.

“Interesting place, filled with secrets I would say. If they would listen I’d try and mine them for information. Yet they seem bent upon destruction and pointlessness. Why are they like that? Are all ghosts like that? Or just most?” she asked herself softly.

The Gug Andjak, the labs of the unimportant or yet to be clever, she had roamed their rooms before and found some interest here and there. Mostly it had bene observational, learning about how people lived and worked within Sahova – an important goal if she was going to make some progress in the city. She was no mage, not really, yet it still behoved her to know how the mages operated. Better to be armed with knowledge than dead with ignorance. As it was there were no pauses, no pointing out of interests. She was led further in, onwards his Lab she presumed. It was not much further, walking across the threshold it was like walking into another world entirely – one she had never stepped into before.

Empty….it was entirely empty. At first glance at least.

“I think I’ve found a man with the least assuming personality in the world, or that this is not all of what there is?” she asked, curiosity had been piqued and she stepped to a wall, fingers running across it and finding there to be indentations, there were things in the wall...drawers? Labels too, though thee scrawl were things she couldn’t understand – not immediately and without study perhaps.

“Drawers…the walls are…drawers. Containing your materials perhaps?” she asked thoughtfully as she stepped closer to him then, “but nowhere to live, too sleep or eat. Unless that is hidden also? A man of many surprises and, ironically, a glamour of dullness. You are clever Thomas, very clever” she stated simply as her gaze flitted here and there to see if she could see anything.

"Clever, yes," Thomas smiled playfully, nimble fingers dancing along as he quickly counted his way towards the drawer he sought after, "But efficient might be the more honest description, if only slightly." It was a clever design, no doubt, and unique, but clever only in it's efficency. Building into the walls was a genius move, as far as Thomas was concerned, allowing far more working space then many of the labs of the same size -- allowing for bigger projects, and far more impressive results.

"And here they are," he mumbled, pulling open a labeled drawer to reveal various rolled parchment. "I'm, or we, should you take up my offer of apprenticeship, are allowed some of the more basic designs of the more popular golems in use around the Citadel. Obviously, we're not meant to copy anything, or mass produce anything. That'll be Lab 15's job. The more for inspiration, I think. After all, we, as animators, strive to make the next big thing to help the wizards here in there research, or in their daily unlife."

He took three of the rolled parchment, walking over to the other side of the lab where he pulled out a desk from the wall. It wheeled out easily, and quickly as he could, he laid out the three parchments, plating them down with odd gears and whatevers to hold them in place.

"I've place a couple here for you to look at -- try and see if you can guess what they can do." He motioned to her to come to the desk where he'd laid out the three blueprints. Casually, Thomas pointed to the middle one. If she were to look over it, she would she the designs for the witness golems; Thomas only hoped she would catch the hint and ask about the spy golems. It had bee quick thinking, but he hoped to continue the coversation, somewhat, even with the presence of the listening machine someone had installed in his office.
