A variety of questions

I've been looking into the concepts of animation magic. And I was wondering, what effects would it have on the source creature? Would it hurt them at all?

When it come to NPCs, would an animated creature fall under possessions, or a NPC? I'm assuming this depends how intelligent they are, but I'm curious.

Would the following NPCs fall under Stationary or Traveling Companion:
Mother and Father- Not much to these.
Sister- Might come with Lisana at times.
Teacher- I wasn't sure what else to call him. He is the one who teaches Lisana Animation. There's more detail in my CS under history.
I'm pretty sure of where they'd go, but I want to make sure.

I maybe able to help out with some of these questions, but my answers could be overruled due to not being correct. With that said here we go:

I am not 100% sure what you mean here. Do you mean the person providing the memories and reflexes for the Golem? Or the thing that is animated?

I am almost 100% it would be a possession, unless you master the craft and are able to produce a near life Golem. Even then I do not think a Golem can't truely learn thus couldn't be an NPC.

Would the following NPCs fall under Stationary or Traveling Companion:
The thing with NPC is they are rather limited usually for approval unless they play a very important role. In the question of Stationary or Traveling, you need to ask yourself will they come with you 85% of the time. If the answer is no, id say stationary.

Mother and Father-
Stationary.

Sister-
Stationary

Teacher-
Stationary.

Again, my answers maybe wrong, but I hope this is able to get you down the right path to get started.

Thanks. By the first question, I meant the person providing the memories and reflexes.

And I wasn't sure when it came to the teacher, because a PC can't learn from a stationary NPC. Or so the lore says.

I do not believe anything will happen to the person that provides the memories and reflexes.

As for the NPC, your character can learn something from a person in the past without that person being a full fledge NPC.
