Arionyx in Spring
Appearance
Race: Ethaefal (Eypharian) Gender: Male Age: 54 Fall Date: 60th, Spring, 460 Place of Origin: Off the coast of Ahnatep.
Appearance: During the day, Arionyx is a tall, broad shouldered, bronze-skinned Ethaefal standing at around 6'3, possessing long, straight hair and dusky blue eyes. Each of his horns are twin, curling flourishes with a broad spiral base, reminiscent of water or serpents.
In the evening, Arionyx loses three inches from his height, but gains an extra set of arms. In this form he looks roughly early thirties, and his black hair is cut very short. A trim goatee sits on his chin. His eyes lose their color and turn dark brown.
To accommodate his changing shapes, Arionyx prefers looser, flowing clothing and a short, collared cloak, which diminishes the open look of his shirt where his two extra arms appear.
Spring colors: Hair - pale blond; Horns - spring green Summer colors: Hair - golden auburn; Horns - white Fall colors: Hair - bright leaf red; Horns - aged gold Winter colors: Hair - pale brown; Horns - forest green
Character Concept
Named for the constellation of the serpent, because of the shape of his horns, Arionyx is an Ethaefal tailor who learned most of his craft in the city nearest where he fell: Ahnatep. Though he is cursed with the heart of a wanderer, he also values the steadiness of a strongly rooted foundation. This usually results in the Ethaefal settling down in a place and favoring somewhere to return to after long voyages abroad.
Years have given the Ethaefal a cloak of patient calm, but he retains a secretive cleverness and cautious curiosity about the world around him and the people in it. Arionyx is enduringly kind, though his generosity can be tempered with pragmatism. As with every Ethaefal, there is an intrinsic sorrow to him, and he very much gives the impression that he does not belong in this world, but his faith in the goddess Syna can be seen in his smile and the luminous blue in his eyes.
In both night and day, Arionyx is often seen with a long, lit pipe, one of his vices, often filled with floral or fruit scented tobacco.Character History
