Refracted Light (By Ornea)

This wasn't how I expected to start this scrapbook, if I would start it at all. But pictures and music came to me. This flower actually makes me think of Lhavit and it's light, refracted and reflected by skyglass.

I found this yesterday on youtube. The music is nearly 30 minutes long and I have listened to it several times. I will share it, with whom it concerns.

To all the squirrels out there

I'm posting this video for the animal pictures, never mind the occasional fantasy elves that adorn it too. But the animals ! I can't even choose.

I logged in and happened to see Firenze's new template for Ireth, the one with the white doves. And, well ... I don't dare to post my associations in other people's scrapbooks, in case it would be wrong for them, so I'm posting it here instead.

The music is actually the "theme" I had for a character long ago, before I even knew about Mizahar. That character was of a race that in practice had eternal life. It was a totally other world, but in Mizahar I guess the closest to this old and half forgotten character of mine would be an Ethaefal.

I haven't thought of this for long time, but I remembered it today. To my long time forgotten Lysanya.

I very much liked the first video you posted, and anything by Brian Eno is always good in my book. I find that listening to this kind of stuff really helps to clear my mind from distraction and focus on my writing. Thus, here's one I thought I would share with you.

Thanks Sal ! The video is beautiful and fascinating. And the poem at the end is perfect.

But I have been reading your latest thread too. “The death of Sal Mander?” My goodness ! I’m really wondering what you are doing to your character. I pray that somebody or something will fish him up from the water; a ship, an Ivyess or an eagle. Or a god. It’s time for Laviku to take action, if you ask me.

Make him hold on to his board until the hot air balloon from Lucis arrives.

I love this soundtrack. And the lyrics.

It has gone on repeat for days now and I keep listening. And I don’t really want to post other music right now. I just want this one to go on for a while.

Drinking in the morning sun

A great band and a lovely song. It’s truly uplifting and inspiring. The end is like one long chant of happiness. I hardly know what to say now Sal. This is definitely the very best way to kick off the week.

Now I have tons and tons to write but cannot start until the weekend. And for some reason I'm thinking of the Amaranthine River...
