As the blue Akalak went to sit down, he introduced himself, "My name is Loxudeianis, but you can call me Lo'campo." She watched him a moment, wondering if he had actually been out in public and interacted with people before, he seemed to be uncomfortable, until he broke the silence, "So, tell me about yourself. Why is a person as elegant looking as you not have someone to appreciate it?"
Smiling and taking a sip off her cider, she noticed that she'd drank the last of what was in her current cup. "Well, I didn't come here alone per se, I did come with someone, but they became... distracted." Subconsciously her eyes flicking back toward where Dor'gen had wandered, wondering what he might be doing, or talking to the other woman about. The thought of her touching him egging her on to flirt with the other men.
As she was looking off towards the crowd she noticed from the corner of her eye one of the serving girls bring around a tray of drinks, leaving it at the table. "Would you like one?" Lo'campo offered to Firenze. "Sure, I would love one thank you," her face flushed from drink and flirting with someone that so much reminded her of her Bondmate. He slid the drink toward her and she grabbed for it and took a long swill. A small thought popped into her mind of becoming as drunk as she had the last time she consumed alcoholic beverage, then dissipated as quickly as it had arrived.
She glanced again quickly, towards the food and beverage area, her mind still straying to the large purple man despite the attractive company that was seated at the table and giving her the attention she craved at that moment. "Would you like to dance?" The question interrupting her thoughts bringing her attention back to the table. "I.. uh.." Fire began, at that time the artist made a comment, "By all means, dance with the fellow m'lady Fire! He's a proper gent and looks like he knows how to move his feet." The comment made her face flush despite the color high in her cheeks from the drink. Toan was quite sweet and she hoped that she'd see him again.
Wondering for a moment if it might be taking the flirting too far and how Dor'gen might feel about her dancing with another man. She chewed on her bottom lip, eyes glancing back and forth between the men, trying to choose. After a few chimes, she had decided, not seeing Dor'gen coming back anytime soon she figured that dancing may take her mind off things for a moment, even if briefly.
"I would love to dance, thank you." She turned toward Toan after accepting the proposal to dance, "It was very nice to meet you, maybe sometime you could show me how to draw?" Smiling at Toan, she lent her hand to Lo'Campo. As they made their way to the dance floor, she glanced around the room. Still no sign of Dor'gen. Where could he be? Had they left? The self depreciating thought striking Firenze's heart like an arrow might pierce flesh. Fast and painful.
She didn't like the thought of Dor'gen with another woman. Could she share? If he needed to find solace in another woman's arms? She didn't think so. It bothered her to even have her mind wandering down that dark path. How could she even begin to fully understand everything that goes on behind closed doors? She was still new to the concept herself.
As her mind turned dark, her and Lo'Campo swayed awkwardly to the music playing, not quite in sync with the beat. She looked up at him and smiled, "You're not so bad at dancing, although it may be a different story for myself." Laughing lightly, her teeth flashing, she tried to enjoy herself. Closing her eyes she tried to clear her mind and let the music flow over her, her hair swayed lightly as they moved back and forth. The awkward steps keeping her in a sway, the rocking lulling her.
Realizing that even though she might not be so good at it, she quite enjoyed dancing. She made a mental note that she needed to dance with Dor', thinking that it might be quite a bit more romantic if they could sway to their own music. The thought had her heart beating loudly in her ears and her blood rushing.
Keeping her eyes closed, a small smile on her face, she let Lo'Campo lead her around the dancing area.
