Appearance Human Form
Nasrina, in her human form, comes off as an adolescent girl who looks to be about seventeen or eighteen. She is far from intimidating, standing a mere 5'5 and weighing in at around 100 pounds. Her slim figure leaves her body with a mostly narrow, rectangular shape that is mostly devoid of feminine curves. She has a small, delicate looking frame with only a little lean musculature building up in her arms and calves. While mostly hidden under looser fitting, flowing clothing, she is beginning to get some definition in her abdomen. Her light blonde hair has a soft natural wave to it and falls just below her small bust when it is left down, which is most of the time. Though she rarely wears much if any makeup, one of her favorite things to do is using eyeliner to draw attention to her bright hazel eyes which appear to shift in color though most of the time they are amber in color with small flecks of dark greens upon closer inspection. Her skin is a bit paler than most others but still maintains a healthy looking glow. Animal Form
In her ferret form, Nasrina is about 6 inches in height from the tips of her ears to her rather stubby legs. She measures barely 19 inches from nose to the tip of her tail, which itself is only 5 inches. Her body is void of almost any unnecessary fat, leaving her weighing in just a little over a pound and a half. Her soft, sleek coat is a mix of colors the majority of which is a yellow-buff color that starts at her underbelly and darkens as it moves up except in the case of her neck and forehead which are snowy white. She has short black legs, a small black tip on her tail, and a black mask that surrounds almost equally dark chocolatey-brown eyes. Her ears are ever so slightly tipped and sit perked atop a wide head, always listening. And though she can see better at night, she has horrible depth perception. Though she may be small, she can easily get into big trouble. Give her an inch for an opening and she can get into anything. Those little legs and arched back of hers are perfect for jumping. Two rows of pointy, tapered little teeth might not seem like they can do very much damage, but they bite deep and are fully capable of ripping off small chunks of exposed flesh. While the fur between her pads obscure her small claws, they are still quite sharp and you'll rarely hear her coming.
Concept There is very little difference in key personality traits between her human and her ferret form. Nasrina is confident to the point where some might call her reckless. She is curious about anything and everything. Though it can reach obsessive heights at times, it isn't too long until she gets distracted, or bored, and moves on to something else. This next thing, she'll get completely absorbed in to the point where what she left for it will be like new again in a matter of days. This has always come as a double-edged sword for the young Kelvic since she does manage to retain some basic knowledge but can easily find herself being told the same thing two or three times before it starts to sink in. Nasrina prefers to sleep as much as she can, often during the day and only becomes more active at night. When she is forced up during the morning hours, she can manage but is much more sluggish and less sociable, likely to try to sneak off for a quick cat nap or doze off behind a book. Her energy is maintained by several small meals throughout the day before 'gorging' herself right before the sunsets. And when she is up, she is up. There is no stopping her for more than a few minutes at a time. People might even get distracted when talking to her by her almost constant fidgeting. Her ethics are her own and she'll often find herself getting into trouble outside of Sunberth. If she sees something that she wants, she'll usually just try to take it. Though she is learning that humans also have their sets of silly laws and that there are consequences for breaking them so in some instances, she'll try to talk someone into giving it to her. Unless it is a shiny thing. People don't like to practically give away shiny things. It is also important to note that even though Nasrina is considered physically mature enough to be independent, that she is still very juvenile when it comes to behavior. She's pushing her own limits and testing her boundaries. Right and wrong are only vague concepts. She is also highly territorial; what is hers, whether acquired lawfully or not, is hers. If she wants it, it will be hers and is hers until she gets it. As far as the deaths of others are related, it is viewed in a food chain type of manner. No species ever only hunts and kills for food. Someone might be killed if they pose a threat, tread into another's territory, or even if they are weaker to create a stronger genetic base or larger food supply. There isn't much that she wouldn't do to ensure her own survival. She is fine socializing one on one, or in small groups but anything much larger than that and she'll find someone to cling to or get overwhelmed but she is also perfectly content with her own company and enjoys her independence. Even if the Kelvic urge to forge a bond gnaws at her from time to time, she's extremely picky in just who she will associate with.
. History Nasrina knows very little of her true origins and only knows what she was told from her original owner's father. She was born from a breeding program in Zeltiva and bought as a pet for his six-year-old daughter when she was just a kit of three months. However, once the newness and cuteness wore off, Nasrina was treated as little more than a commodity in the household. Not keen on losing his investment, the man had begun to look into selling the now 10 month old Nasrina into slavery. Luck was on her side however, as she had learned quite a bit from watching him work and was able to make her escape one night. The juvenile spent months in hiding before being able to save up enough to get her own place, most of her income garnered from thievery and selling off items she acquired.
