Kayia Kiski Basic Information Race: Human Birthday & Age : 21 years, 493 85th day of Summer Gender: Female Physical Description Kayia is tiny. And when one thinks of tiny, she trumps even that. She is no taller then 4ft5. Her body is petite, lacking most of the female roundings. Her hair reaches just below her shoulders and is colored Auburn. Her eyes are of a light blue color. The color of her skin is pale. She likes to morph the color of her hair into a lightblue color and her facial skin even whiter. Character Concept Personality Kayia has always been a serious, almost emotionless, girl. She never really acted upon her feelings, not as a kid, not as an adult. Even in dire situations she keeps her calm. However this changes when her alternate personality takes over. This happens when she cannot figure out why a certain situation happens, or when she cannot deal with a certain situation. Her alternate personality, who also took up the name Kayia, is almost childish and only acts upon her gut feeling. She shows all of her emotions on her face and is pretty much the direct opposite of the dominant personality. As far as concern towards other people for her, she is only really interested in the well-being of people who are beneficial, in one way or another, to her research. She has no problems dropping, or even betraying, someone who would be a detriment to her knowledge gain. Ethics Think before you act. Do not act on your feelings as that usually ends up with one getting into trouble. Likes Planning out situations Dislikes Unplanned events Character History Pre-creation Kayia's parents named their child after the goddess of nature, hoping that she would be a soft and gentle girl. Oh how were they wrong. While growing up she never showed emotion, for she felt nearly none. The ones she did feel, she didn't know how to express, estranging herself from her from other kids. She was a logical girl, logical by her own standards that is. Her parents taught her morphing, but forgot to teach her not to do it too long because she'd overgive. As a result, she did overgive at her 15th birthday, as she wanted to show her parents her progress with her morphing. She kept it up for too long. The result was that, besides headaches and fever, she got a split personality. At first Kayia didn't notice her other personality, but around a season after her 16th birthday, did her alternate personality start showing. It started with whispers, a simple voice talking to her to show her emotions more. However, the girl didn't even know how to show her emotions. She had never showed love, never knew how. Yet at the same time, she did start to listen to it, even speak to it. This lasted for about a season, in which the voice became clearer and clearer. That's when she got her first blackout. Her alternate personality had taken over and kept control for no longer then a bell. Luckily she was home at that point and only her parents found out. They decided to keep Kayia inside until they could figure out what happened to her. Kayia, however, wasn't planning on staying cooped up in the house. Whenever her parents were out of the house, she escaped, roaming around the city exploring it. Where ever she went, she always heard of the university and got extremely curious. She went as far as give it a visit, only to be stopped, because she wasn't a student. Wandering through the city, she met a gadgeteer, who showed her a few things, grabbing her interest. In the days after, he not only taught her a little gadgeteering, but also some metalsmithing, saying how a real gadgeteer would make the parts needed himself. About three seasons passed before her parents found out that their girl was sneaking out and tried to lock her into her room again, this time with locks on the windows as well. Kayia's alter, however, didn't accept any of this. Taking control forcefully, she yelled at her parents, cursed them for locking her up. She continued on to what she wanted to do and let know her intentions. Shortly after she went to her room, packed up and just up and left her parents' house. At first she just boarded at the World's End Grotto, before she could grab a boat to Sahova. There she tried for apprenticeship and succeeded on the first try. Though she used her morphing to get in, once she learned about animation, she shifted all of her focus onto this. |
