Taloba was an industrious city, its people unified by their Goddess Queen, and the almost unfaltering knowledge that the race of Myrians as a whole was greater than any other, certainly more so than the deceitful serpents on Zinrah. Despite this, Myri's army was always busy, and repairs to the raging fires that had swept through the city in the Fall had not been made as quickly as everyone had imagined. Entirely destroyed areas had been mostly cleared of debris, and those areas able to be saved were in better repair, but far from complete.
A good example of this was the Tskanna Training Yard. The yard itself was fine, most of the Tskanna stalls solid, their foundations made from stone and unharmed by flames, but many of the wooden structures that kept a roof over Tskanna heads in the monsoons, and several stall areas were still in shambles, and most of the Tskanna building and repair power had gone into aiding other sections of the city before working on the yard itself.
This changed today, however. Shouts, commands, and the shifting and shaking of the earth that marked the great power the large elephants contained marked a bustling source of activity within the yard itself. Many Myrians, even ones that did not normally work int he yards had come to pitch in. In addition several cooks from the Treehouse Cafe had set up a makeshift stall outside and were providing Vom Skewers and fresh juice and cold water to workers in need of a break.
Azael was inevitably drawn the commotion, noise and industry. The large blue grey elephants were dragging large logs and trunks that would act as new beams to support the large roofs over their heads, but other smaller jobs were occurring as well. Dried umbrella leaves and other foliage were being woven to make the thatch that would cover the supports, smaller logs and wooden pieces were being brought to enclose sections of the yard. There was plenty of work to be had, the only question, was how one might insert themselves into the fray.
