Dhani and Akalak Questions

The answer may be totally obvious and I am simply looking too closely, but I have a question on Dhani giving birth to Akalak.

In the Dhani lore, it says that female Dhani cannot give birth to halfbreeds, because of the birthing process. However, an Akalak is not a halfbreed, he is simply birthed from a mother of a different race, correct? If Dhani give live birth, than is it not plausible for them to give birth to an Akalak?

Also, since I could not find any mention of it in the Akalak lore, I searched the Nakivak lore, as it seemed to be a good resource for this sort of information. It states that Dhani are not accepted as Nakivak. Is that purely a cultural thing, or is it actually physically/genetically impossible for a Dhani to give birth to an Akalak?

I say Dhani, but if it is different for Iyvess (specifically freshwater Iyvess) than that would also be useful information. There is nothing stated about reproduction in the Iyvess lore, so I assumed it was the same as Dhani.

With Dhani, females can only give birth with other Dhani, due to the unique egg laying process of said Dhani birthing, (reptilian egg laying live birthing, not mammalian live birth) so any half breed Dhani would therefore come from a mating of a male Dhani and a female of another race. Not quite sure how that works with both a reptilian egg in the womb or something, and then live birthing a bunch of snakes, but it does. Bearing in mind that there are no female Akalak, for the most part, this would mean only a male Akalak could mate with a female Dhani, which as is said could not end up with a pregnancy, since other races than Dhani can't fertilize the female Dhani's eggs. A Akalak is, similar to a konti, genetically dominant, in that when it mates with other races it always births a child of its own race, and not a child of the other race. So therefore in general a Akalak mating with another race will always end up with a full blooded Akalak being born. There is no such thing normally as a half Akalak, which is what is meant by a half breed, excepting in the special case of a Konti and Akalak breeding which can on rare occurrences end up with a Akontak. But normally Akalak and Konti breed true, and always give birth through their mating to full blooded children of their race, and never half breeds. So the reason a Dhani couldn't be a Nakivak is since it is not genetically possible for a Akalak to impregnate a Dhani. While there are differences between the different sub-races, in terms of breeding they are all similarly egg laying. Though also bear in mind there cannot be cross breeds between different Dhani subraces, so no half rattler half constrictor, or half rattler and half iyvess. It is either full blooded Dhani of a certain subrace, or a half dhani(from a male father) and half of another race. Sorry to say, but female Dhani are pretty limited as far as mating, since they are limited to only having children to males of their own subrace of Dhani.
