Fen Appearance Race: Kelvic Gender: Male Age: 2 Birthday: 70 Spring, 512AV Birthplace:Kalea Region Height: 5'10" Weight:155 lbs. Eye Color: Ice Blue Hair Color: Dark Brown Human Appearance:Fen has dark brown almost black hair that is always a mess. His facial hair is a dark stubble and never anything more. Fen has sharper than normal teeth that resemble his wolf side. His nails also resemble his wolf side as they are longer and filed to a point. Fen retains the same piercing, ice blue eyes between transformations. From his short time being a slave Fen has a significant amount of fresh scars covering his chest, back, arms and legs. Many of the scars are easily determined to be whip lashings, the others appear to be bite marks, claw marks and even cuts from a blade. Fen wears a pair of ripped shorts held up by a leather belt and have clearly been worn through many transformations. He also has a backpack that he has adjusted to be a harness that can sheath two gladius and can be worn between transformations. Animal Appearance: Fen is a larger than average wolf at the top end of the weight and height range. Unlike his human hair, Fen's fur is much better groomed and is mostly white with gray undertones. The torn shorts and harness are still worn ocaassionally being loose and falling off. The scars are covered in fur and aren't as easily seen. Likes:Family, Companionship, Independence, Freedom. Dislikes:Slavery, Bondage associated with imprisonment and slavery, Anyone who forces another against their will. Personality:Despite his time as a slave, Fen is outgoing and helpful. He is loyal to those he trusts but he doesn't trust easily. Fen can be impatient and at times hot-headed. Character History Fen was born into a community of kelvic slaves that traveled through the Kalea region. The slavers worked the slaves day and night with little food, little rest and severe punishments. The strongest and most fierce of the slaves were separated and forced to fight for food and ranking. Fen at first was worked hard and received numerous beatings for his uncooperative behavior. Around 6 months after he was born Fen was separated from the majority being forced to fight, at first the fighting was a thrill for Fen but it shortly became dull. Fen continued to fight and work for the next 3 months receiving many beatings before again being seperated. During the following months Fen was forced to mate with another so they could receive their rations. It was around his First birthday that some of the slaves planned an escape during the transportation to a new location, they were successful and managed to free nearly all the slaves. For the next year the group traveled through Kalea avoiding slavers and living off the land. During their travels Fen practiced various forms for self defense which included training in the use of gladius swords. When he wasn't practicing Fen worked with one of the older slaves who taught him some basic leather working. He used his basic knowledge of leather working to adjust his bag to have sheaths for 2 gladius swords he also fashioned it into a harness that relatively fits regardless if he is human or wolf. Near the end of the first year after escape the community was found by slavers and attacked, in the fray Fen was seperated. In the morning after the attack Fen returned to the campsite looking for survivors but was only succesful in finding some small supplies which included 2 brand new gladius swords. He collected these things and continued traveling through Kalea; often Fen would go from a cave to a small grouping of bushes to sleep for the night. When he reached a city Fen was looking forward to a bed, though it was not something he was accustomed to. After long travels Fen arrived at the base of Lhavit and decided here he would search for a home.
