The Exterior
Aebon usually stands tall, with an air of cheerfulness and curiosity about him. He can usually be found wearing a smile on his face, and an open look on his face.

The Interior
Aebon is an inquisitive, cheerful individual, always poking his nose into places and situations he'd probably be better off ignoring. This gets him into quite a bit of trouble, but he's quite likeable, and has learned to apologize quickly.
However, this doesn't mean he's naive, showing caution in his curiosity. Due to his past, he doesn't trust easily, even if he does like someone quite a bit. They have to prove their trustworthiness, because Aebon has seen the worst in people, during his travels. This puts a damper on his usually happy-go-lucky personality when he thinks about it, so he tries to not focus on negatives too much. Due to his past, though, he hates the institution of slavery deeply, and will speak out against it, if brought up.

History
Aebon was born to a fairly well-off family in Lhavit. The youngster was well-suited to the safe, comfortable neighborhood that he was raised in, and explored the many wonders of the Diamond of Kalea with enthusiasm. He was taught mathematics, writing, and physics by a gruff old tutor, and learned the basics of Auristics, Reimancy, and Nader Canoch from his father, who was a average student of magic. When he was eight years of age, a shaggy old man, obviously unstable, kidnapped Aebon, spouting some nonsense about defeating an ancient evil, and training the chosen one. The Shinya tracked him down, and punished the criminal, returning Aebon to his parents. However, this convinced his family that this wasn't a safe place to raise a child, and they set off to Riverfall, taking a cargo ship, which aimed to trade the valuable skyglass of the city with the homeland of the Akalaks. They seemed to be making fair headway, and the family and crew were happy. However, this was not to last.
Capture!-
For whatever reason, Laviku's favor was not with the trade ship, and a sudden storm came upon them, causing them to ground violently on the peninsula between Lhavit and Kalinor. No one except Aebon survived, and the boy was unconscious for three days, until a group of pirates, who were laying in wait for a ship to attack, found the wreck, and the lone survivor. They quickly pounced upon the boy, capturing him, and forcing him into servitude, once he had recuperated. He lived for the next three years in misery, constantly chained or bound in some way.
Escape!-
When he was twelve years old, the pirates attempted to attack what appeared to be an undefended merchant vessel, and brought their slave with them. They were so very, very, wrong. A group of Shinya were guarding the vessel, protecting the interests of the Star Lady's city, even so far from the Diamond of Kalea itself. The pathetically one-sided battle ensued, in which the pirates were all slain, and Aebon rescued. Grabbing the Cold Iron glaive from the captain's body, Aebon vowed to never be defenseless again. Aebon disembarked at Riverfall after the trading vessel made its' way there, and began his new life.
Life until now-
Aebon mainly relied upon the charity of an Adult Akalak who never had a son, and took him in as his own, training him to fight with his glaive. However, this Akalak was tragically killed in a training accident, rare for the blue-skinned race, but still possible. This happened when Aebon was 17, so he has had quite a bit of time to recover. Now, he must rely on his own strength, and take his own life in his hands.
