Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Anyone watching such an odd scenario would already be laughing, as it would seem like he wasn't the only one blank talking to people. He had no idea of what to do, but he at least knew what he wanted. Listening to her rambling on, trying to set an explanation was amusing, though. Silently, he already decided on his next move, but he liked to hear what she had to say, first. Luckily, however, it would seem she wasn't so much against the idea as he initialy thought. listening to the warning of wolves had a certain truth to it, but it wouldn't be the first time he snucked out turing the night, and for the most part he managed to avoid getting eaten up till now. He had a small doubt of wolves actually getting this close to the city, even if it was dark. But he didn't want to argue with her, because her statement luckily locked his decision. He offered her a nod, as if thinking about it for a long while. "Yeah, wolves. Wouldn't want meeting those." He added. He was speaking the truth, in a way. He had nothing to go against it, as well. Meeting some wolves would spell out death all over his face, even though the first encounter with them saved his life. Funny how everything can come around so fast.
"Then, if you don't mind, I'd love another cup of tea." He added, offering a smile at her as she turned around to face him. He was happy. His room could wait a night without him there, after all. |

Arden smiled back."Would you like the honey again?" She asked ladling hot water into the cups again, she brought out the honey and set it down on the table, puttting a half a spoon of honey into her tea this time. Tucking the purplish-brown hair behind her ears she looked back up that the tall man. His coat was still on the back of the chair, his long blade still resting on the floor. He was closer to the door, as he had noticed how dark it had gotten also. Arden's mind ran into something, What am I going to make. Is he going to need something to eat? How much time has it been since he had last had a meal. She worried about what her cold storage was like, since it was the opposite side of the small cabin, filled with ice and food. She did not know what to do. She wanted to check to see what she could make, but she wasn't sure either if he wanted anything. |

He didn't seem like someone who would be wanting to ask for something else, however. Once it was decided that he was going to stay, he slowly returned to his seat, sitting down and fixing his coat that was over it, because a sleeve was already touching the ground. He seemed quite contend for the time being, not really realizing that she was having such an internal turmoil about food. He ate before he went out, so he thought he would be able to survive until morning, when he goes back to his own room. He has some rations remaining, so that wouldn't be that much of a bother. He just remembered, as all thinking about food got him to realize he'll need to feet his pet rat Nibbles, as well, as soon as he comes back. Last time he didn't do so, he found one of his blankets chewed through, and that simply ruined a warm and somewhat expensive piece of tavern interior he had to hide, so he wouldn't be paying for it. He knew he would have to repay it one time, but as long as he could postpone that, the better.
"Sure, I would love some more honey." He replied, once he snapped out of his little daydreaming. The last thing he wanted was to leave the woman without an answer, with him simply staring off in the distance. "You're really kind, you know that? I appreciate your concern." He then added. "But you should sit down, as well. You don't need to be on your feet the whole night simply because I came to visit. You should be able to relax, as well." |

Arden noticed that he was watching her, she straighten her face. It had been twisted in deep thought, she'll just leave it for now, so if he mentions it at all that's when she will do something. She was unsure on how to properly react, and act with a guest. "But you should sit down, as well. You don't need to be on your feet the whole night simply because I came to visit. You should be able to relax, as well." She half smiled at him. "Yes, sorry. It just I've never had a guest over before." She said laughing a little at the absurdity of it. Been here for a few months now and has never had a guest. I don't get the opportunity to meet many people." Arden then add honey to the leaves in one of the cups, she ladled in some water and handed him his cup again. Then she took her seat across from him. She held the warm cup between her hands again. It was always a nice warm comforting feeling. Back in Avanthal she would always have tea with her hold family. It was a great way to catch up and get to know the new people. |

As Clemens came to hear that, his lips spread into a wide smile, revealing his somewhat crooked front teeth row, as he shoke his head. That did amuse him greatly. He felt at home, if not only because the girl infront of him was almost as bad as acting and reacting to people as he was. He wondered, if this is how silly he looked and sounded to the people he already met. The width of his smile somewhat fading, now only keeping his lips slightly bent, so he wouldn't sit there with a frown, which he had if he didn't apply any muscle pressure to his lips. And in return, she'd probably think he is in a bad moon. Which wasn't the case at all. He watched her add the elaves and honey, sitting down as well. It might only be some sort of feeling, but he always got somewhat nervous if the person he was talking to wasn't sitting, if Clemens himself was. Slowly, his hands once again wrapped around the boiling water in his cup, now knowing full well not to make a sip, or he would have a burned tongue and teary eyes. Simply lifting one edge of the cup slightly up, he began making circlular motions, and let liquid swirl around.
"So I'm your first, then, huh? Well then let me be the first one to tell you you have a wonderful home, and you are a great host." He spoke out, even acting a bit, to add to the dramatisation of his spoken words. But his words were true, and he nodded afterwords, as he finished speaking. |

Arden sipped her tea slowly. It had cooled just enough that it wasn't going to burn her lips anymore. She closed her eyes, tasting the tea. She opened her eyes and smiled alittle. "It seems you are." She laughed at the thought. She yawned, it was getting really late into the night, maybe just past midnight or something like that. She looked back at the fire and it seemed to be doing fine, not to low and not to high. So the warmth in the small cottage was comforting compared to the outside winds that were now picking up. Maybe there will be an actually storm here in Sylaris, it seems that it had been very mild here. She drummed her fingers against the table, just a random pattern. She zoned out watching the steam roll and twist away from her tea. Arden became silent, she eventually stopped tapping her fingers and just watched the steam. She was glad that he had stayed, but it almost seemed that he needed to be somewhere now, like he had forgotten something. |

The man was relaxed. Almost too relaxed, if one is to think he was in a stranger's home, unarmed, and getting slowly tired. The comfortable warmth of the cottage, and the sweet taste of the tea he was having made him feel somewhat drowsy. He had no guard on him, or anything. Maybe he was simply too quick to trust a smiling girl like that, but he felt like there wasn't going to be much or any hostility coming from her. After all, her leg injury would still bring him in a better fighting chance that she would. Even though it was a really funny thought for him, trying to imagine fighting Arden, who was up till now everything but agressive. She brought him to her home, offered a drink, and allowed him to stay the night. His eyelids were already getting heavier as his mind became slower to react. Outside was pure dark, so he supposed it was probably the next day, already. His mouth openned wide as his chest rose, and a gaping yawn came from his depths, not really bothering to cover his mouth with his hand as he did so.
"Looks like it's getting late." He muttered out, bringing a hand to wipe his left eye, blinking lazily. "I suggest we try getting some rest, no? Unless you planned on keeping me awake through the night. Then I'll probably need more sugar." He offered a smile, his head slowly inching into a nod to bolden his statement with the gesture. |

Arden pushed her tea way, it was not helping with her tiredness. She smirked seeing him yawn also. The tea really did not help with staying up, she muffled another yawn. "Yea, sleep sounds good right about now." Then she thought about it. 'I only have one bed though." She frowned, since he was the guest he would get the bed. "You can have the bed then." She mused thinking about it. I guess it would be being a gracious host. Arden slumped into the chair leaning on the table, she gently closed her eyes. She brought her coat over her shoulders, she'll have to put a lot more onto the fire to keep it going into the night. |

Blinked as he heard that. He was having none of that, as a tired grin appeared on his lips. Might of just be his sleepy self, or what was left of his dignity. He stood up, and walked around the table. Without much of a warning, the man decided to wrap his hands around her and lift her up, now being somewhat easier since he wasn't having any other weight on him, and his arms already rested up. With her with him, he'd walk up to the bed and simply set her down, pointing towards the bed as she was finally free again. "No, no you don't. You sleep here, and get some rest." He replied, the grin widdening further as he spoke that up. "I'll take the chair. You were already too good with me, anyways." With that, he turned around and sat back down on the chair, nodding his head as the grin faded from his lips. He simply couldn't bring himself over actually making her sleep on the ground, a chair or anywhere, really. He was used on sleeping in bad spots, as his three years of being dragged around showed. A warm place and a silent location was something he wished for many times. He had really no problems sleeping here, even if it was slightly uncomfortable.
"Thank you, though." He added after a while. |

She felt his arms wrap around her, Arden's eyes snapped open. He was carrying her back to the bed, mumbling something about how he wont take the bed. Though he had only set her down a few inches from the bed. Arden sighed heavily, she sat on the bed and crossed her legs, scowling at him. "But your the guest." She protested, but only silence greeted the words. With another sigh she looked at him. "Always lifting me." She mumbles, before laying down and rolling over. She touched her leg, it didn't hurt anymore unless she touched it. At least it felt better, it probably isn't as bad as it looked. She sighed again and rolled over, she was laying on her back now. unsure of what to really do. After a long pause she heard him say thank you, but after that it was silent again. |
