April came back to the real world as Garland engaged a second kiss, her body latching onto him again. She was in a state of pure, wonderful bliss. She kept held of him for a long time, enjoying the moment, before slowly parting again.

"Mwaah~! Hah... hah... You're really good at this." She said, wiping her mouth. By now they had attracted quite a number of wandering eyes. April couldn't help but giggle and blush. She was made very much aware of their peculiar predicament.

Showing off was in her nature, and she was more than proud to display her affection for someone she was fond of. But she didn't want them watching the more intimate moments for fear of ruining the moment. Nothing's less romantic than a drunk, scraggly bearded man watching you.

"Ahem... perhaps we should move somewhere a little more private." She rose to her feet and readjusted herself from the vault over the table. Her shirt was almost twisted all the way around at the waist, and she had lost one of her boots under the table in all the chaos. She quickly retrieved it and set herself right again.

"I'm gonna wait outside and let you pay. Get some fresh, cold air to get me straight. Then maybe you can show me around some more. Or something~" She winked and made her way out to the street.

He got up from the ground and took the flaggon of ale from the table. "Hehe. I'll pay, of course. It's pretty early, and I don't have any other plans... We can head back to your ship if you want some privacy."

He placed down nine silver Mizas and waited for April to leave the tavern. He didn't have time to finish his ale though, but he got something much better, a kiss from April, he guessed that she's his new girlfriend, maybe. They haven't exactly confirmed it yet... They have just kissed four times and are on a date.

"Bye, dear. Come again and please, refrain from snogging each other senseless." She took the gold and then walked off. Garland gave a sigh and walked out the Rearing Stallion with renewed energy. He smiled and grabbed April's hand, and kissed her cheek.

"Anyway, where should we head off to now? The theater... That's about it, that's the only thing that comes to mind." He said sheepishly and looked around, the streets were still covered with people, but it had gotten thinner since earlier. "We can... go to the Stone Garden, but it's just a bunch of stones set up because some people didn't have much left or they couldn't be identified and they used it as a sort of memorial or something. Essentially a graveyard. Not exactly the place you would take your first girlfriend.

When Garland passed out of the tavern doors, April immediately set upon him like a dog to its master's return. She hugged his arm with all the strength she could muster. Her face was buried deep into his bicep. You could almost see the cartoon hearts floating up over her head.

He was definitely a keeper. Over the past few days the squire had only managed to win more and more of her heart. And today was the point were April knew, for sure, that she was in love with him. In a world filled with moldy old sailors, creepy townsfolk, murderous thieves, and slimy merchants, April had managed to find the diamond in the rough. She was undeniably lovesick.

Svefra were, undoubtedly, fascinated with love. Love for one's self, love for family, and love for a lover. Love was a huge part of their lives. And now, so was Garland. Even though they had only known each other for a short time, April knew she wanted him for herself.

"I think the threatre would be nice. It's too cold to stay outside. You don't want your girlfriend getting sick, hm~?" She giggled, cuddling closer to him for warmth. She had denied wearing thicker clothes for the sake of appearance, but now the storms were rolling in. The wind was slipping through the fabric of her clothes and chilling the skin beneath. She had to press herself against Garland to keep from shivering.

"What kind of shows do they have here?" She asked, walking side by side with him in the street. The crowd much much smaller, given the weather, but didn't register to April. She was too busy snuggling up to her new boyfriend to care.

He smiled when she started nuzzling him. "Well, this is a strange feeling... I like it." He smiled and wrapped his arm around her. He felt his heart flutter, like when he was fighting, beating hard and such, but this was something completely different. Her warm skin, and sweet lips were something he loved, something he craved for. He kissed her lips sweetly, and held her hand.

This was a strange relationship they were going into. A squire, a knight to be, an upholder of the law and a trouble-maker, a privater, a sailor. Not exactly the most romantic couple ever, or even a normal couple. Then again, neither of them are normal. "Girlfriend? Hehe... I've always wanted to call someone that." He said and held her close, keeping her as warm as he can.

He had been alone all his life, a boy that grew up too fast, he missed his childhood, life had forced him to protect his friends, but they never really accepted the large boy as a friend and more as a protector after he had made it a personal vendetta to beat the bullies in the orphanage. He had never had one friend, he was charismatic, he was a good talker, listener, but he never really had friends when he was growing up, so now he cherishes all of the friendships he's finally making, but this one is above all the others.

"Come on, let's go." He held her close and started walking through the crowd and back to the bazaar. The cold didn't bother him one bit, neither did the crowd, but he was a bit worried about April though. "Stick close, okay? You wouldn't want to lose your boyfriend in the crowd, do you?" He said and saw the theater a few paces away. "come on."

They walked into the threater, it seemed like there were people already taking their seats, it seemed like a show was about to begin. "Let's get to the seats." They took a seat near the back for more privacy, it was dark and it was perfect. The velvet carpet and fancy stonework was perfect for any date. They should have gone here first.

April kept a close hold on Garland as they pushed through the crowd and towards the theatre. Already, flakes of snow were starting to fall from the sky and stick to the ground, meaning even colder weather was to follow. She wondered if it was wise to take shelter in her ship. For as reliable as Tosca was, there was little she could do to protect her from the cold. Two or three nights at an inn wouldn't hurt.

She shivered. She knew she'd have the dreams again. They always came with the snow. She hoped Garland wouldn't be there to see that. Lest he think she was insane. But at least at the inn she'd be just a few paces away from help if she needed it. They might judge her, but they were just strangers.

She cleared her mind of those thoughts and turned her attention back to Garland. She wondered if he'd be stationed out in the cold. Poor thing. She'd have to see about sneaking some hot meals to him if he was on patrol.

They made their way into their seats in the dark where April "accidentally" stepped on a few feet on the way over. At least here in the theatre they wouldn't have to worry about being watched. And despite the large number of people that were here, the dim lights made it almost barren. She liked it.

The show began, and April watched on. It was odd. The last play she had ever attended was one of her Aunt's. And she hated it. Just some dressed up weirdos screaming and singing while the crowd applauded. It didn't make sense. How were you supposed to take a story seriously if it's all in song? Well, she was young then. Maybe she was grown up enough now now to understand it.

Pfft, yeah, and maybe pigs can fly.

A few minutes in and April was already slumped down in her seat. "Sigh... she sighed.

Bored, April started fiddling with her hair, then her fingers, then Garland's fingers, then back to her hair again. She wanted to endure it for his sake, but her impatience and hyperactivity made it an impossible task. So she started thinking. And that was a dangerous thing for her to do.

A wicked smile spread across her lips.

She did a quick check to make sure noone was watching before slowly leaning over to Garland and breathing softly into his ear. Before he had a chance to respond, April had already dragged her tongue along the inside of his earlobe and started nibbling on the outer edge. Meanwhile her fingers were slowly brushing across his chest.

"Hope I'm not... 'ear'ritating you~"

Ahh, the theater... A place of beautiful art, and soothing music... Now he remembers why they didn't come here first. An opera, he expected that April might have at least been interested since her aunt was a opera singer, but it seemed that she was bored of this place, he would have offered to leave, but he felt that they need to at least stay for a few minutes.

He was bored here too, he stifled a yawn and closed his eyes, this was so boring, he couldn't even understand what was the story was, there was a boat, and some lady in weird armor singing or something and then cannons. Was the other boat trying to shut her up? He didn't know because everyone was singing really strangely.

He opened his eyes and yawned again. He was falling asleep, that was not a good sign, he needed to find some way to entertain himself. After a while, he couldn't think of anything that didn't involve making a scene or going up there on stage and just stealing the show himself.

Good gods, this opera is taking forever, scene after scene of screaming-singing was completely boring, and it was driving him crazy. He stopped another yawn and was about to ask April if she wanted to leave, he felt her lean in and breath slowly on his ear.

And then she licked his ear.

She licked his ear...

And he liked it.

Her tongue sent a shiver down his spine, a sweet sensation that was absolutely foreign to him, and it was ecstasy. He clenched his hand on his seat and used his other hand to cover his mouth.

"Hope I'm not... 'ear'ritating you~"

He was glad he covered his mouth, he would have laughed at how bad her pun was. "You should be ashamed for that pun!" He said and went over to her ear and bit it gently.

April shivered and moaned as Garland's teeth nibbled at her ear. Her fingers clutched at his shirt and pulled him closer to her. Hot, musky breath rolled over the side of his face as April went in for another attack.

April moved from her seat and positioned herself on his lap, her legs straddling his thighs. She had him pinned. An evil look was on her face, like a hunter who had caught their pray.

This time, she she latched onto his ear with her entire mouth, allowing her tongue free range. It slid up and over the edges of his lobe before slowly inching its way into his ear canal. She started to suck, pulling the cartilage taut. Already she was starting to drool.

She continued to love on his ear with bizarre fervor. She had never done something like this before, but it had an odd appeal to her. His ears were chewy and soft, but firm and able to retain its shape. She was fascinated by it. Every fold of the skin, every curve and cranny was explored by her mouth. It was an adventure, to say the least.

Her tongue continued to slosh around in and around his earhole until she pulled back to catch her breath. Even in the dark, her cheeks were a violent color of pink. She licked her lips.

"Mmhn~, I didn't think Squires tasted so good" She teased, leaning into him to steal his warmth while her mouth latched onto the nape of his neck to slowly suckle on his throat.

Garland looked around and made sure no one was looking at them, luckily they were too focused on whatever that opera thing was doing to care about two rowdy teens(or teens at heart) teasting each other at the back. Garland gave a soft moan and smile as April starting doing strange things to his ear. Strange, exciting things.

His face was a light blush, he had gotten quite good at hiding blushes, but still not that good for it to be not noticed. He kissed April's cheek and licked her face. He smiled and gave a contented sigh as she pressed her head against his chest and started nibbling her ear as she started sucking on his neck.

He put his hand on her sides, slowly moving them up and down her body, brushing past her chest and winking at her. "I hope you're not ticklish." He had one of his hands between her breasts and another on her side. He gave a soft squeeze to her side, and then rubbed her chest.

He was tempted, he was so very tempted, but no, not here, and not now. He kept his self under control, instead he just pressed his lips on to her and continued to tickle her relentlessly. He kept her from drawing too much attention from the crowd of people in the theater.

He parted and stopped his tickling. "Hehe~ We're just a bunch of trouble-makers." He kissed her neck and leaned back on the chair.

April did everything in her power not to burst out laughing as Garland tickled her. Her hands clenched his sides with a powerful vice, and her hips shook around like an animal in a cage. She was loving every minute of it, and Garland seemed happy to play along.

The biting, the licking, all of it made her shudder with unbound glee. She was riding some sort of romance high that no dose of Temper could ever grant her. Everything about the time they spent together was wonderful. And this moment was no different.

But eventually her adrenaline died down and she was content to sit on Garland's lap with her head nestled into his neck. His warm breath on her hair, his firm arms wrapped around her, the gentle beating of his heart, all of it comforted her. Shielded her. She loved it. She loved him.

"Garland..." She said, looking up at him with a warm smile. Her fingers caressed his face, his nose, his mouth. She was in some sort of odd trance. She had never felt this way before. Like a burning in her heart, but... not bad. An intense feeling of... longing? No... it was something other than that. She couldn't name it, but she could feel it.

"Do you love me?" She asked, sitting up so that their faces were inches apart. "Cuz... I mean... I really like you. Actually... I'm totally in love with you. Not going to lie. But I just want to know... if... you know... you love me back" She laid her forehead on his, staring deep into his eyes.

She rested on his chest silently, like an adorable little kitten. He couldn't help but smile, when she got up and gave him a look full of love, he couldn't help, but return it.

As she ran her hand across his face, he couldn't help but blush. His hands wrapped around her body as they looked into each other's eyes.

"Do you love me?"

He was surprised to say the least. Wasn't it obvious already? He loved her, he loved her like he had never loved before. He had crushes plenty of times and he thought he loved someone else a season ago, but they just enjoyed each other company, but they're not in any way romantically involved, but now he knows he's in love with this strange girl he met at the docks one faithful day. He didn't know if this was faith or dumb luck, but he had found love when he wasn't even looking for it.

"Cuz... I mean... I really like you. Actually... I'm totally in love with you. Not going to lie. But I just want to know... if... you know... you love me back"

"Don't be an idiot April. Of course I love you!" He said without any hesitation, and leaned forward to kiss her passionately. His tongue started searching her in her mouth for her tongue.

He raised his hand and rubbed her cheek lovingly. "I love you, you crazy Sverfa." He said again and kissed her again. "If I could, I would stay with you and sail along with your adventures." He knows he said that he wouldn't have done this for a girl he just met, but April was special, and he guessed that's what the other squires that left would have said and honestly, he could see their point of view.
