My fondness for "take a thing, put it in a different context, see what happens" isn't just about characters. I'm a massive fan of covers of songs where they completely flip the musical style and end up creating something totally different.

My current musical switcheroo obsession is Postmodern Jukebox over on Youtube, where they put songs in retro styles, and wind up with this kind of magnificence:

If that sort of thing is your cup of tea, I suggest checking out their versions of -

They also do Saturday Morning Slow Jams, which are the themes from Saturday morning cartoons done in the style of a slow jam. Yes, it is as fantastic as it sounds.

I know what you mean. I listen to all kinds of music, sometimes also retro pearls, original recordings from the past as well as new versions from present time. I discover new things all the time. And I just can't resist sending you this one.

I was going to do a vlog on Saturday. In fact, I did - I recorded a vlog on Saturday. Twice. I also recorded the same vlog on Sunday. And today. Alongside all of that I have had technical problems up the wazoo, things that worked fine suddenly ceasing to work (including one of my legs), and my body has attempted not once but twice to drown me in my own lung fluids. There is only one possible conclusion that can be drawn.

Vlog #5 is cursed. :paranoid:

I've had this stuck in my head all day, except my brain keeps singing "I'm Zhol, man" as the chorus instead. So... watch out Khara, I guess? Apparently Zhol has a truck load of good lovin'.
