“
Winter 2, 514 A.V.
It was a dull, and quiet morning. Xen had just gotten up; it was time for him to learn more about Zinrah's underworld, or rather, the parts that would benefit him in the future. His eyes still held the early morning glaze, but he was alert and attentive to the things around him. Xen continues through the corridor, walking through it as lonesome, and quietly possible. He hoped to find a place he could buy some things from as his old armor, and weapon wasn't quite cutting it for him now. A few chimes passed during Xen's endeavor, before a strange odor strikes his nose.
It smelled of old metal and wood suddenly! Xen could not help but grimace, and cover his nose with his left hand. “ What is that terrible odor, ” Xen thought, but he quickly began to wonder what was the cause of the odor. Xen then proceeds to walk forward, and to his displeasure, and slight joy, the smell became stronger. It probably would have been better to ask someone for directions. However, he couldn't ask the constrictors for anything; they always wanted something in return. And if he didn't have money, then they'd find ways for him to compensate...physically.
He did not have the luxury to spend money haphazardly.
Xen in time discovers the source of the odor. “ This place is huge, and junky, ” His thoughts reflected the ¨beauty¨ of The Fence quite well. Xen was pleased with what he found; he was certain that this place would have the things he wanted. One could see that Xen had fallen for the places strange allure—it had its own charm—which easily claimed his steady stone heart. Now, he just had to scramble around to find the objects of his interest. The shop had possibly everything one could think of; weapons, jewelry, clothing, and possibly more than what he could see!
“ I'll take these, ” Xen places his possessions onto the counter before the silent Simelissentyllyss.
