Whether it be thieves, sellswords, or the average man trying to get buy. practically every denizen of the city could use a well-forged piece of steel; and the Knight's Armory is happy to provide! Located amongst the various shops and stalls of the Castle Commons, the Knight's Armory is a relatively small establishment that sees a copious sum of traffic. Despite the size of the facility and staff, the Knight's Armory easily accommodates the demands of its customers...
...Though one would be smart not to inquire about the origins of their wares.
Upon entering the establishment, one is greeted by a wave of heat and the smell of smoke. The din of hammers beating away at hot steel perpetually fills the air; and one would be hard-pressed not to gain the attention of one of the smiths without shouting. Lining the walls of the Armory are several racks and stands; each filled to the brim with a variety of weapons and armor. For the most part, customers simply browse the racks and select the item they seek before bringing it to the counter off to the side. There, prices may be haggled; and as a courtesy, all weapons are given a final sharpening and all armor a last polish before being permitted out the door.
These items, more often than not, are pilfered from the corpses which turn up in the alleyways and are cleaned up for resale at a later date. Of course, the smiths would never say as much; and asking questions is a quick way to get booted from the Armory...or worse. However, if a patron is in the market for something original, he or she may request a custom item at any time. Provided that they have the coin for their purchase on hand, the smiths will accommodate their customer and provide a rather quality product...at least, by Sunberth standards.
A keen eye might notice that the Knight's Armory, whilst perpetually active, only produces a small sum of armaments for public sale. This is due to their strong connection to one of the three largest organizations in the city: the Sun's Birth. Day in and day out, the smiths of the Knight's Armory toil away in order to provide the organization with as many armaments as possible. As such, attempting to derail their focus by requesting a custom order is an easy source of frustration...and might even result in a price hike when it's all said and done.

Some speculate that it was said organization that fronted him the funds to start his Armory, whilst others believe that he is simply an old friend of the Warmarshal. However, it would be an impossibility to coax an answer to this question out of the quiet smith. At the end of the day, Karos is not fond of people nor being interrupted in his work. As such, it is a rarity for him to accept requests for custom orders; even if he is the greatest smith in the whole city. Should a man be bold enough to ask, he might be met with a grunt...but on rare occasions, Karos responds with almost-sarcastic requests. Completing these tasks, or otherwise impressing the grumpy smith, are the sole ways of earning his interest...and more importantly, his handiwork. *Receiving a "quest" from Karos is a moderated event. Completing one will access requests for Izentor-marked weapons and armor; provided that one has the coin. PM your local storyteller for more details!

Being that he was an ex-Knight of Syliras, the Armory was named in light of his prior occupation; for despite defecting, Lawrence is proud of his former life. Unlike his friend, who is notorious for his cold disposition, Lawrence is a touch more sociable. He has no qualms about engaging customers about custom orders and tends to be the most fair of the three in terms of pricing. However, the scope of his work generally keeps him too busy to accommodate the majority of the customers; leaving them therefore to be preyed upon by Nathaniel's greedy fingers. Of the three, Lawrence seems to be tasked with producing the most "menial" products; such as horseshoes and general tools over weapons and armor. However, every now and then he has been known to craft armaments that rival those of Karos himself.

Over the years, Karos has come to look after Nathaniel as if he were his own son and has taught him the way of the smith. While he has leaps and bounds to go, Nathaniel is rather talented when it comes to crafting armor; especially leather. At present, Nathaniel has grown into a young adult and has recently become the face of the establishment. Each and every customer that enters the Knight's Armory is greeted with his warm grin and helpful disposition...and sometimes, even his trademark price hiking.
