And I would assume it's similar to creating a CS. You can start roleplaying right away as a squire but you'd have to stop if there are issues for some reason.

... It's kind of more of a... Thread thing. You can't RP as a squire if you're not accepted, just as you can't walk fine IC if you broke your leg a day earlier. It just doesn't work.

Seems pretty... Meh, I mean let's say you post in the recruitment thread on the 30th does that mean you can't post beyond 30 because, it seems a bit... Limiting.

If it's Claudia (Because I saw her having these issues and I saw her post in the recruitment thread), you can tell her that because she said that she's a squire at creation there is no need for her to be worried, she can delete the post, and use every squirely thing she wants c:
