Zephari is much more well built than the average Benshira thanks to a life of spent digging for precious metals and gems. she stands at about five foot six inches and weighs 150 pounds, though very little of her weight is fat. The majority of her strength is from her core and shoulders, which is where she is the most toned, due to swinging a pickaxe for a living. Her skin is darker than average, at least three shades darker than the usual Benshia skin color. Her most noticeable feature is her scarred arms and callused hands, which she has received from spending the better part of her life digging and working with stone. Her hair is a dull dark brown, almost black. Rather than the usual long or braided hair that most Benshira sport, Zephari prefers to keep her hair short and neat. She has bi colored eyes, one light emerald green, one sky blue. She almost always wears dull either tan or grey clothing, due to the fact that she tends to work jobs that involve getting down and dirty.
A good few scars cover her arms and hands, and her knees are the same from scrambling over rocks from a young age. Her thicker arms and toned muscles give Zephari a very masculine look, though her face is still rather feminine, having very few imperfections, other than a few sun spots along the forehead. Even in warm weather Zephari prefers to keep herself largely covered, showing very little skin beyond what is completely necessary.

Personality
Zephari is a mostly simple person. She has few needs and does not mind living with very little. This is partly why she enjoys all things earth. Geology and mining is simple yet interesting in her eyes, so it has become her main passion in life. Her devotion to the earth has earned her a great deal of patience and tenacity, as the earth is slow and difficult to work with. She is an incredibly hard worker and puts her entire focus on the job at hand. Yet she is still a fairly social person and enjoys talking with others, especially those who are well traveled like her. However she is always cautious in her social interactions, fearful of betrayal or deception. Because of this she often doesn't stay with any one group of people for long periods of time, not wanting to wait for something to go wrong.
For her the only honest way of earning a living is through hard work and determination, not for it to be handed to her by somebody else. Because of this she is often out and about on her own.
Zephari often tends to come off somewhat strange, as she is always creates theories about things and people, but she does love to socialize. One of the first things that is easily noticed about her is that she is constantly exploring, and trying to find beauty, even in dangerous situations. This makes her a little dangerous to be around, as she often takes risks, even if it is only for finding out what is around the next bend. Her biggest issue is she can get a little fiery when put on defense, and her recklessness can lead her to doing stupid things out of anger.
History
Zephari was born into a family of animal shepherds, the third child after 2 sons. Her being born killed her mother so she was raised entirely by her father.They were a caravan family so they moved from city to city constantly, never staying in one place for more than a couple weeks at most.
She was never seen as an equal to her brothers as both of them exceeded ad herding or horse riding, where as she found no joy in anything involved with tending a herd. She often avoided chores which earned her a reputation as unruly, and irresponsible. This is what started the rift between her, and her father. He was never happy with her unwillingness to help, so he treated her as a lesser. This created a self destructive circle that drove her further and further from her family.
Early in her youth she found she had an eye for finding precious metals and gets among the sand in the deserts of Eyktol. She spent most of her free time, which she had plenty of by avoiding work for the family, honing her skills in this. By the age of 12 she had a collection of gems and silver. Around this time her family had stopped by Ahnatep to restock on supplies before moving on. Her father who wasn't the most honest Benshira ever born, decided to take the collection, and traded it away for a sword and a new mule. This was the last straw for Zephari, and so on the night her family moved away from the city, she ran away.
Since then she has been wandering from place to place within the Eyktol deserts, with merchants and caravans, needing their support thanks to her lack of survival skills. During this time she spent her time honing her geological skills and even adopting some jewel crafting ability from a merchant. Spending several years with this particular merchant caravan, Zephari made several trips all the way around Eyktol, and she learned many things from the caravan in that time. As she has gotten older she has grown tired of the desert. Almost feeling a calling to keep moving on, but this time needing to completely move on from her current life. So after cutting ties with her current caravan, she got on a boat from Ahnatep to Riverfall, in search of new opportunities, and new experiences.
