Character History

Pre-Creation
Raylin's mother is Inarta, while her father is Drykas. Her mother lived most of her life as a commener, this is because of an affair that happened between her great-great grandmother and a human. This mix had her family to be thrown in the drugdes. It hadn't been until the birth of her mother (Raylin's Grandmother) that they were treated a purebreds again. Raylin's grandmother was able to raise their family into the commoners through her tailoring. Raylin's mother became the apprentices of a glassworker when she was 12 and started her career from there. When Raylin's mother was 19, her father (age 20) came to the town, looking for a glass present for his mother's 50th birthday. He eventually came to the shop Raylin's mother was working in. There, her father found the perfect pendant, though at the time he didn't know what else he had found. The two of them started to see each other everyday, wether at the shop, your just bumping into eachother. Either way they ended up falling in love and the inevitable happend. He then left later that week and swore to return. Well a few months later Raylin was born. A message was sent to her father of her birth, and he sent a letter replieing that he would return for them.
A few years past and Raylin leared glass work from her mother. By age 8 she knew all the basics. Of corse, Raylin and her mother did not live very peaceful lives. Raylin was constantly critisized for not being purebred and didn't have many friends. This made her want to get out of Wind Reach more and more by the day. On her 10th birthday though, her father finally came to bring her and her mother to the Amethyst Pavilion. Before they left though, her father finaly got to propose to her mother. Instead of a ring, he used a glass pendent that was in the shape of a heart and was an orange/red in colour.
After almost a year of traveling, they finally got to the Pavilion. One of the first places Raylin went was to the stable with her father. There, I young mare came up to her and nudged her with her head. The horse was a sandy colour. Her father explained to her that the mare had chosen her to be her rider. Raylin decided to call the horse Sabela. Through the years Raylin and her mother lived in the Pavilion happily. Raylin recived the last name Sunsetfeather, after her heratige as an Inarta and because in a sunset orange, and purple live side by side. Raylin continued to devolp her skills in glasswork. Through the years she learned archery, tattooing and how to survive in the wilderness. On her 16th birthday, her mother passed down the heart pendent.
Post-Creation
At the glasswork studio Raylin met Dymphna, Kayiri and Edalene. While making glass vials for Dymphna, she watched as Edalene and Kayiri's feelings for eachother began to unfold. A few days later she found herself going on a hunt with Sam'el, Dymphna, Kayiri, Vanator and Eldon. This ended up making her have to run away from a group of glass beaks and crawling into a cave filled with pycons. After 30 days of being bored, she had squirl stew with Revion and Jarhal, two members of the Emeraled clan. A few day after winter started she ran into Jarhal again.
