Appearance
Lianel is the spitting image of her twin Irriel. She has long strawberry blonde hair, normally braided or pulled back, a stern face as befitting her Isur heritage with dark brown eyes, and a stocky muscular build. Lianel's features are severe, and though her smile can be warm, she rarely engages in such an expression. The one difference between her and her sister, and Lianel's proudest feature is her Izentor marked right arm which is an iridescent lavender in hue, and several shades lighter than Irriel's arm. Personality
Lianel is not a particularly social individual. She would much rather bury herself in projects or her work as a Locksmith than socialize with anyone outside her direct family, even members of her clan, part of the reason she was happy to move into Sultros where the only person who nags her to get more of a life than tinkering with keys and locks is Irriel. Lianel is a determined and studious individual who highly enjoys learning new subjects, crafts, and about lifestyles outside of Sultros and the Isur Kingdom as a whole. She has never left the confines of the mountain herself, and does not dream of leaving, but enjoys stories nevertheless. While not particularly engaging if one encountered her on the street, she is a hard worker and those that seek her for her locksmith services are never disappointed.
History
Lianel was born half a bell after her identical sister Irriel into the Terras clan. The twin girls were seen as a good omen, and cherished by their family clan the Lighthand's from a young age.
Lianel and Irriel's childhood was one of a somewhat absent if loving family. Their Father, a Sultros, is a wandering gadgeteer and trader, plying his own creations as well as their Mother's armor and weapon works. His trips usually include traveling around the kingdom from clan to clan, but every other year also entail departing into Mizahar proper. Lianel has always found her connection stronger with her Father than her Mother, from the first time in her memory when he returned from a long trip and gave her a strange lock and challenged her to open it, as well as make a key for it. Ever since that day her father had brought her locks without keys, keys without locks, door hinges, knobs, and other interesting metal creations others might see as junk back from his trips abroad. She would eagerly await his arrival to hear stories of the races and cities of Mizahar, and has learned a smattering of Fratava from her Father's experiences trading.
Lianel cares deeply for her Mother, but was never interested in Armor or Weapon Smithing like Irriel was. When her sister was learning tips and tricks from her Mother, Lianel would be tinkering and playing by herself, and when both of their parents were busy working or travelling, their Mother occasionally accompanying their father on trips away, the twins would keep each other company, forming them into the rather independent, yet co-dependent beings they are today.
