Now, this likely seems very superfluous and I'm likely overthinking/overcomplicating things like normal but could a Drykas build braiding as a skill? Given plaiting is a common theme amongst the Drykas, to the point where it's like a cultural trait and a symbol of status, could one be invested enough to gain skill points in it in order to do more elaborate styles and such? I ask because the character I am making has grown into a plait-obsessed monster in my head and wants to weave pretty braids into horse tails and manes as well as any willing human head of hair. Should I just toss weaving up there instead? I feel as if I'd be cheating if I had her do such things without having some form of skillset to show for whatever 'quality' she may leave in her wake and I'd rather not leave it out since it's a fitting character quirk.
Thanks so much in advance!

Hey Tanna,
Welcome to Miz!
I wouldn't use weaving because it is described in the lore as pertaining to fabrics, so while it is an accurate term it might make things a little confusing.
You can use lores to depict types of weaves you have learned/will learn. I would use Hairstyling as the skill title
You don't have to restrict yourself to the ones listed in the skill list so if you would prefer titling it something else you can feel free. However, graders might not know what to title the skill when they grade your threads so if you do this I would recommend putting the title you are calling the skill by into the grade request
Then they will know what you would like it to be awarded as.

Oh, wonderful! Thank you so much for the feedback. I was thinking of hairstyling as a skillset for this so, I s'pose, as long as I make it clear that it
is something then it can be graded accordingly. I'm still getting a handle of lores and all of that, as sad as that may seem, so I truly do appreciate your insight

Thank you both so much. I am definitely starting to realise it's more of a lore/knowledge than skill so you all have done me a big service with that!
