Lazuhly as a person is a character driven by a passion to learn and hunt knowledge. In her pursuit of this her favorite endeavors include trying to apply what she's learned or experienced in real life context. This is skewed by a warped perception of reality, sometimes the consequences of her actions are just an afterthought as she convinces herself that whatever intangible thing she wants or needs is just around the bend if she goes just a little further. On the outside she is warm, friendly and overall pleasant but she is the kind of person that would not hesitate to put others herself included in great peril if the risk is worth the reward. |
:Brief Biography:
Lazuhly started her magical career at the age of ten as a page in syilra and her first lessons in magic revolved around glyphing. Her parents were mage knights as their ancestors before them, and some day Lazuhly was expected to become a mage knight as well. It was a right of passage while also a privileged birthright. Years had passed and after her ascension in rank and Lazuhly as a young squire was initiated into the world of reimancy while her father taught her the basics of shielding. But as she was groomed to join the order and pledge her life to the windoak, there was something bothering her. She felt like a cog in a wheel and that there beloved fortress city was nothing more then a prison. The concept that the strong must protect the weak. Was a compelling argument that those that could not protect themselves expected a free ride with her blood and suffering and it was unacceptable. She did not believe in the civilian population and held them in contempt for her perception of them. Choosing to leave peaceably she forfeited her place within the knights by resigning as a squire. But by doing so she ostracized herself not just from the knights but from friends and family that were tightly intertwined. Although no laws would be broken if she stayed, she knew she was no longer welcome. Finally free she was left to learn more about the world and opted to spend a year searching out those expressly forbidden magics. Having found some success by aquiring leeching. She resides in Zeltiva now enjoying the smell and sounds of rolling ocean waves |
