Kei Basic Information: Race: Kelvic [Martial Eagle] Age: 1 year Date of Birth: 4th of Spring, 514 AV Gender: Male Height: 6'2 Weight: 149 Hair Color: Dark Brown with White on the underside Eye Color: Golden flecked with Black Languages: Avian[Racial], Common[Fluent], Pavi{Basic}Pavi was a language that Kei picked up while traveling from city to city as a slave. They would sometimes be stopped by Drykas, sometimes questioning what was going on, and sometimes just for conversation., Tukant[Poor] Physical Description Kei is tall with the body mass of someone always on the move, having more muscle than body fat. He has short, darker brown hair that mimics that dark of the feathers crowing his eagle form. His hair, despite his young age, has small bits of white and gray under neither, displaying the feathers going lower down on his body as an eagle. Another feature showing off his more animistic side of himself would be his piercing golden eyes. Flecked with small traces of black, the eyes are something to behold. With a gaze hard to break, Kei's eyes are truly pools of wonder. The rest of his face is well chiseled, though not quite perfect. While in eagle form, he is rather large on the current scale of Martial Eagles. From head to the end of his tail feathers, Kei is 31 inches long and weighs in at almost thirteen pounds. His wings, on the other hand, are almost 6'5 from tip to tip. His feathers mix from a palette of white, black, and various shades of brown. From the top, Kei has dark brown feathers that fade down to white on the underbelly. He has long, black streaks on his underside as well, completing the palette of colors. His eyes are the same as his human, though they are much rounder and wider. Character Concept Kei himself has a very skewed sense of how the world works due to his living and growing up in his younger days. Due to this, he has a hard time telling right from wrong and sometimes will say the wrong things at the wrong time, resulting in problems and issues for him. Because of this though, he is willing to learn and grow. He's often excited to learn more about the world around him and he wants to absorb all of it. Despite this, though, Kei is much too impulsive to travel on his own, though he will end up doing so anyways. He likes to be around others, despite his fear of being restrained. Kei wants to travel the world, just as his mother talked about. He was inspired by his mother's stories of the world and wanted to see for himself. Kei is set on going out and seeing the world once he's got the chance. On his journey to explore and learn, Kei wants to learn more mostly about others and himself. He wants to study why people do things and how they interact with others. He finds the studies of other living beings fascinating and wishes to observe living creatures interaction with the world itself. This could possibly be Kei's downfall, seeing as he's willing to stick his nose into places it doesn't belong simply for his own personal wants. Even though Kei wants to learn about the interaction of living beings and other things, he wishes to help free slaves. Having been one himself, he wishes for no one else to suffer such pain and wants to help as many as his can in the short amount of life he has. Kei's only issue with this is that he fears himself being enslaved again, though he believes he would never be able to escape, bringing forward his fear of trust and-only sometimes-his lack of courage. He fears that he will not be strong enough to help others and wishes to grow stronger for them and himself. Kei's entire existence circles around these two goals: learn all there is to learn about the way living creatures think, and free as many enslaved people as possible.

History {Pre-Creation} Kei does not know his true birthplace, but he always assumed it was in Kenash, where he frequently worked. He was born into slavery to his mother. He didn't know his father and his mother never talked about his father, so Kei never bothered. When Kei was young, he was often frightened by the entire space he lived in. His mother, though, told him about her life before slavery. She lived out in the woods, never staying in one place for too long. She filled journals and notebooks with drawings and paragraphs of things she encountered. Kei was told by his mother that should he ever get the chance to escape, he should. The slaver owners, overhearing this, has Kei's mother killed, in fear that she would influence Kei. But it was too late, Kei, after his mother's death, found where she hid her last notebook, one that she had started when she was kidnapped and forced into slavery. Kei vowed to himself that he would fill his mother's last notebook in her honor. Kei remained in slavery until he was eleven months old. He was being transfered out of Kenash when a man helped Kei and a few other slaves escape. The man took out the driver of a small wagon that Kei and the others were in. The horse, frightened, fled, alerting other officers with different wagons that someone was freeing slaves. The man was attacked, stalling for Kei and the others to escape. The man then escaped himself, but not without fatal wounds, with he later died from. Kei buried the man and marked his grave. Even though he did not know the man, Kei knew that this man had given him a chance. Kei took off, stealing at first, some money so that he would be able to survive for a small amount of time.
