Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

A smile broke out across Avanze's face, nodding slightly. That she did... His entire life, the only person that had made him hurt was his father... And occasionally, his mother. He was having so many thoughts about her lately... Him and Etnava both. Though she was strict and mean and stuff, they had always felt very protective of her.....
Wait, she's from Riverfall? This snapped Avanze back to reality, waking him from his thoughts of home as this girl talked of being from home. He wondered how that happened. He hadn't seen many humans in Riverfall, except the odd female who had survived the birthing of an Akalak, which was rare indeed. He saw more Konti than any other race at his home city. Wait, she's Dhani? She sure doesn't act it. Must be a half-br- fifty-seven?!?! Avanze looked at Asen in slight disbelief. She looked nothing like a fifty-seven year old would, but he couldn't talk. He'd look the same for at least more than three hundred years, so he wondered how long she'd look as she does now. She wasn't bad; hell, probably the finest looking girl he's seen in Syliras so far, and there were a lot of people in the fortress of peace.
He turned his head slightly as Asen maneuvered herself behind him, slightly wary; this was, after all, the one who headbutted him not too long ago. "I'll be thirty-three, sometime this season. Not that long until my birth-day...." he trailed off, turning his head slightly as Asen flicked the tip of his ears. He felt her finger in his hair, causing his eyebrow to raise slightly. He suddenly felt very self-conscious, wondering if he smelled at all like Syliras did. He hoped not; he would have to take a really long bath if he did. He wondered if he was dirty at all; he didn't know that many women that liked men to be slightly grimy. He usually was pretty clean, but now he forgot if he had washed himself today. Etnava, does swimming around a hotspring count as bathing? That, I know not, brother. I do know she is stroking our hair, though.
Avanze blinked, feeling her hand. No one had stroked his hair, save for his mother, and that was only when he was little. It... Actually felt nice for a bit. For a bit.
He felt her hand move across his shoulder, causing his eyebrow to raise even higher on his forehead.... Until he felt her arm across his throat. He gave a tiny gasp of annoyance, walking a few steps forward. He grabbed at her arm, trying to remove it, but it seemed locked there. He felt her heels on his torso, so he left her arm alone. He reached around, trying to get hold of her back, but the only thing that happened was him pawing uselessly at her.
He moved his hands down to cup her rear, his face flushing slightly as he did so. He pushed, trying to dislodge her and flip her over his head or at the very least make her fall into the water.
No such luck. The way his arms went back gave him less leverage, so it was as if he was trying to grope her yet slightly pushing at the same time. Giving an exasperated sigh, he stopped, going for her legs now. He tried pulling them away, so that he could pull her one way and possibly throw her again. I swear, I had no idea you like to throw people, Avanze... And I thought you were supposed to be the kind one. Avanze gritted his teeth slightly, resuming his pull on her legs without success.
His hands, being wet, took away his ability to get a good grip, and he paid the price for that. He lost hold of her legs when he gave a massive pull, making his arms fly out. This threw him way off balance, sending him to fall face-first into the water with a big splash. He flailed slightly, trying to get his hands under him so that he could push himself up and regain his footing.
After a few ticks underwater, he resurfaced in an explosion of water, gulping the air as if he was under there for more than the tiny amount of time. He had water all in his eyes, so he could barely see. He rubbed at his eyes, trying to tell if he still felt her slight weight, well, slight to him, on his back anymore.Tukant | Common | Avanze Thoughts | Etnava Thoughts

Asen held on as Avanze moved, almost losing her seat on the edge of the hotsprings. He leaned back and she relaxed. That is, until he started grasping at her back. His fingers dragging across her slick skin, chilly compared to the heat of the water, caused a shiver to run down her spine. She tightened her grip around his neck, making a displeased noise.
"Now, now. That's enough o' tha- Hey, woah! Watch where you're grabbin'!" she yelled in surprise, arm slipping from around his throat as she twisted to look behind her. His massive blue hands had taken hold of her backside and she lifted herself from them, trying to dislodge him.
The half-Dhani's expression quickly changed from shock into that of unamusement. She sighed heavily, giving the Akalak a disappointed look. It seemed as though he was trying to throw her again, but the only thing he succeeded in was making both of them uncomfortable.
She stood, trying to shake off his hand. The squire almost managed to get him off of her before her legs were yanked out from under her and she hit the ground, the air whooshing out of her lungs. For one terrifying moment she couldn't breathe, and then she was being wrenched across the ground and hurled into the water.
Not petchin' again, she thought as her body broke the surface with a splash. She thrashed about, catching hold of something firm. Asen dug her nails in, pulling herself towards and climbing up it. Air was the first thing to hit her face and she gulped it down greedily, finally taking stock of exactly what she was holding on to.
The blonde opened her eyes to bright blue skin. She was gripping Avanze's shoulder and thigh, which she quickly released when she realized it. "Sorry," she said, glancing down and away. Her face was slightly flushed and she swam to the side, though she looked back up when an idea came to her.
Both hands curled into fists and she swung at the Akalak, aiming for his jaw. The sheer speed behind the blow would leave a mark, and whether it was merely a small welt or a bruise it didn't matter -- it would hurt, if it connected. There was always the chance of him being faster and dodging it.

Oi, watch your grabbing at, Etnava yelled into Avanze's head, as if her were talking to the Dhani. Grunting slightly in pain, Avanze looked down at Asen, feeling her nails grip his skin hard. Urk, that hurts. Tell her, next time she uses her finger nails, I'll get her with a good round-house to that blonde head 'o hers. Giving a small grunt of agreement, Avanze rubbed at his thigh roughly, as if trying to scrub the pain away. The spots felt as if they had been poked with tiny daggers, and he probed them slightly in an attempt to find any blood. Oh, man up, you wussy. Avanze gave a mental growl at Etnava, prompting his Other to continue with his insulting dialogue. You need to learn to wrestle, boy. She's obviously better than you, you big blue worm. Huffing slightly, Avanze said back to Etnava, Oh, thanks for the vote of confidence. I really needed that.
Chuckling slightly, Etnava became quiet, going back into his strategy-pondering. Oh, and you think a strategy will help me beat her? This is a one on one, not me against multiple opponents. Avanze watched the girl, making sure she didn't try anything. I have a plan... Avanze nodded slightly, waiting a tick. Kick her blonde-Duck! Avanze looked up, only to see a fist speeding towards his face. He tried backing away from the blow, his head moving down a bit in the process. Instead of doing as Etnava said, he only succeeded in moving a little away, but not enough. The hit didn't land where it had preivously looked like; it hit his cheek instead of his jaw. The blow sent him staggering; that hurt! Moving his foot back to regain his balance, he brought a hand up to cup his cheek.
"Hey, what are you trying to do, knock the blue out of me?" Etnava snickered, watching the Dhani closely. So, what's the plan? Avanze shifted his footing slightly, bring his hands up and opening his fists. He adopted his fathers stance, though it didn't look right with him; undeveloped, as if it could be so, so much better. [i]Easy. Kick her arse!
Giving the woman a oddly friendly smile, Avanze stepped forward, bringing his left palm back. He sent his hand in a feint to her forehead; this usually knocked most people way off balance, sending them crashing into the ground for Avanze to unleash his wrath upon.
But this time, it was only a feint. Never aiming for her, his left hand went wide, far away from his usual target. He sent his right palm towards her stomach, flattening his hand to hit a bigger space. Urgh, that feint was ugly! You make me look bad.
The power behind the blow, plus the momentum of his left hand would deliver a thumping blow. Literally. The sound the blow would make would would be a thump if it hit, and would definitely hit her hard. That is, if he had aimed at the correct spot.Tukant | Common | Avanze Thoughts | Etnava Thoughts

The blow was a solid one, even though it didn't hit its intended target. Asen shook her knuckles, which were quickly turning red, and blew gently on them. Ah, friendly banter, she thought.
"I might be, yeah," was her reply, "It'd be pretty funny to see that, eh?"
His smile, though faked, didn't set off any alarms in her head. He was a fairly level-headed giant, it seemed. The hand flying towards her face made her duck, water slowing her motions. It sailed past her and by the time she realized Avanze was feinting his blow had already struck.
The half-Dhani crumpled around his hand, the force of the blow knocking her off balance and sending her floating away from him. Her arms pinwheeled as she fell backwards into the water, managing to take a breath just before her head went under.
She tightened her abdomen and sprang back up, using her momentum to fling herself towards the Akalak. She couldn't hit him like he hit her, not with that much power behind her punches. She relied on speed, not brute strength, so her next attack was higher than his. He was simply too heavily muscled for her to concentrate on his gut.
Asen had aimed a kick towards his crotch first, and if it connected it would (hopefully) make him double over far enough for her to grab his throat. The water, however, was still hindering her movements and to an extent the force of her blows. If it didn't hurt him as much as she hoped, her hand would slap against his chest and she would be too close for comfort. She wouldn't be able to get away fast enough to keep him from grabbing her.

Nodding only slightly, Avanze stood straight up, a smirk on his face. He doubted she would want to continue after a hit like that. His father had gotten him a few times with it, and every time afterwards, he'd have a few problems doing anything. Of course, it wasn't as good as his father's, nor anywhere as strong, as he was still learning to use his palms. Usually, he fists would work just fine, but his sire told him before he left to not use his fists for anything any longer. Doing so might break his hand, especially since he was growing stronger and could hit things with greater strength.
He watched as the half-Dhani sprang from the water, feeling tiny droplets sprinkle his blue skin. The way she moved, she was obviously coming to him.... Though, he couldn't tell if it was to only chat or if she meant him harm.
He watched as her foot came from out of the water, bringing with it even more water to hit him. Wiping his eyes for a tick, he hadn't noticed that instead of trying to get her foot out of the water to attempt a leap, as he had though, she was going for a kick by the time he saw this, it was too late. The only thing he could do was uncross his arms and move them as if he were going to block.
"Holy jakri!" Putting his knees together, he covered his crotch, intense pain and a little anger crossing his face. He felt his hand hit his chest, though it wasn't hard enough to do any damage. It made him stumble slightly, and he looked up at her, his eyes watering slightly.
Throw her. It was all he needed. Stepping forward, though the action sent a spike of pain through..... His lower regions, he grabbed one of her legs, his other hand gripping her arm. He wasn't going to pick her up; it most certainly was going to be too much as he hadn't come anywhere near recovering, but he was sure he could fling her a few feet.
Swinging around, he lifted the half-Dhani from the water, though only low enough for maybe one of her hands to skim the water. He let go, though she'd only go a few feet from where he was, if he had thrown her correctly. If not, she'd more like flop in front of him, or on top of him, as his knees were about to buckle from the pain.Tukant | Common | Avanze Thoughts | Etnava Thoughts

Asen started laughing, amused by the Akalak's expression. Crotch kicks were always a good way to get someone down on their knees. Her laughter halted abruptly as she felt a hand grip her leg. She jerked the leg away, but the hand remained. She brought the other foot up to kick him in the stomach, floating on her back.
Unfortunately it only made it easier for Avanze to grab hold of her arm. The half-Dhani thrashed as she was lifted, panicking. He's gonna throw me again. Gods, please don't throw me again! she begged internally. It'd be the third time.
To tell the truth it wasn't so much a throw as it was an ungraceful slinging of her lanky form across the surface like a poorly-skipped stone. Half her body smacked the water as soon as Avanze let go, the other half flopping over to land face-first and simply sink.
After a moment of undignified flailing the squire righted herself, her skin red from the impact. She pouted at the Akalak. "C'mon now, Avanze. That's the third time. Surely you're more creative, yeah?"
Asen half-hoped she'd tempt the darker brother out, although she wasn't sure what he was like. She pushed herself over to the massive blue man, swimming in slow circles like he had done to her before she'd headbutted him. "I think you've got your fill o' throwin' me. Why don't you try somethin' else?" she asked suggestively.
Her arm extended, fingers trailing over the Akalak's forearm and then his hip. She allowed her nails to graze across his lower back before circling around again.
"Well?"

Watching the half-Dhani flail a bit, Avanze seated himself, his face still a mask of pain. The hurt was growing less by the minute, though, the warm waters soothing. He touched his crotch gingerly, glad that nothing really bad had happened to him. He watched the woman intently, crossing his legs under the water.
"I don't wrestle. I could possibly try to break your back.... But then, that is breaking your back." He narrowed his eyes, visualizing the scene in his mind. It would be quite easy, really. He'd pick her up, one hand gripped on her neck, the other possibly on her leg. Lifting her above his head, he'd give a savage grin, before swinging her down towards his knee, which was moving up as fast as she would be coming down. The impact of her spine crashing into his knee would be painful, to say the least. Very, very painful. He'd seen his dad kill a Cerulean like that, who dared attempt to harm his mother.
The thought of it sent a flash on intense anger through his mind, such anger that Etnava nor anyone else had seen that much. A very rare occurrence, and one that their father had prepared them for, as an angered Avanze was fearsome to behold. Etnava, well.... He was always angry, but his rage wasn't anywhere near his light brother's.
Slipping back from the reigns of the big blue body, Avanze fell back, shutting off all senses and thought. He'd meditate internally, thinking calming thoughts. This would take a long time, however, sometimes days. One time, he had been meditating for near ten days; this was when a Cerulean had attacked his mother. He'd been only about eight that time, and Etnava had already surfaced by then. Unable to do anything, he'd watch his father go to work on the Akalak. Afterwards, he'd been nearly unapproachable except by his mother, who he followed around as if he was a guard. When someone would get close, he'd flip out, yelling and hitting for all he was worth. His father eventually sorted it out, but the thought of him getting older and stronger and in his rage frightened those that knew him, so it was why his father designed this process.
~~~
Etnava, taking control of the body, relished his final freedom. He'd been waiting to get out. To finally do something, other than be a mere whisper in Avanze's ear. A smirk appeared over Etnava's face as he looked at the half-Dhani, getting up. He was no longer in pain; at least, he was, but Etnava pushed it off of his mind.
"Yea, I could try some'ing else. I could try lot of things, sexy. His voice, instead of being deep and gentle like Avanze's, had become slightly raspy, as if he needed to clear his throat. His creepy smirk widened as he felt the womans fingers on him, and, instead of saying something in response, he purely acted.
Grabbing Asen's waist roughly, he pulled her to him, squeezing her small body into his bigger one. His member grew as his eyes crawled hungrily over her body, lowering his head so that his mouth was almost brushing her ear, whispering in an ironic gentle, soft voice, "And wha' would you like ta do to'ay, lovely? Like I said, lot of things ca' happen. He moved his hand lower, cupping the soft flesh easily. His smirk widened as he bit the lobe of her ear, awaiting an answer.
Asen frowned at the Akalak's sudden impassiveness. His expression had become neutral, almost as if he'd slipped away inside. She stood slowly, reaching a hand out towards his arm. "Avanze...? Are you okay?" she asked, wary.
The girl withdrew her hand as a smirk slid across Avanze's face. Her brow furrowed and she took a step back. "Avanze?"
The shift in his attitude and voice was sudden, startling. The half-Dhani's eyes went wide and she felt fear dripped down her spine, cold and slow. She began to back away, but Ava- no, this wasn't Avanze. This was Etnava. She tempted the lion from its den, and it was the lion she got. What she'd forgotten, however, is that there was no fence to keep the dangerous beast from attacking her.
And by the gods, she regretted it.
Asen yelped as the Akalak pulled her body to his, wincing at the smack of blue flesh against pale skin. Her arms came up to absorb most of the impact, fingers splayed across the massive man's midriff, and she pushed at him as she felt his manhood prod her hip.
Her hands clenched into fists and she screwed her eyes shut, holding herself as far from his body as possible -- which wasn't very far, considering his superior strength. The blonde's hips jerked forwards, accompanied by a gasp, as Etnava took hold of her backside.
"Etnava, plea- hey! What the petch!?" she shouted, feeling his teeth at her earlobe.
"Etnava, stop. This... It en't what I actually wanted. I just... stop," pleaded the half-Dhani. She was entirely too close for comfort, and she was no escape artist. She couldn't slip out of his grasp without dislocating or breaking something, and that was the last thing she wanted to do.
Asen braced her forearm against the solid wall of muscle she was up against, struggling to push herself away. She stopped after a few ticks, peering up at his face. "Please, please let Avanze back in control," she begged, searching his eyes for a tiny flicker of the gentler brother.
Her words only made his smirk wider, his lust all the more greater. She had made the worst mistake anyone near Etnava could have made; she begged. Etnava relished in the sounds of begging, of the whimpers of the injured, the cries of misery he caused whenever he came in control. Most people only meet Avanze, and the gentler brother only liked to tell others of his dark Other. Usually, from his words, most only thought he was a pain in Avanze's side, a fly to buzz around his head in annoyance. Oh, but he was so much more.
He brought his free arm up, his other hand gripping flesh all the more tighter. He moved his head back, looking down at her. His face went blank for a tick, as if the control was passing over. He released his grip, but he kept his hand hovering over the spot it was at before.
His face once more regained expression, though this time one of mild confusion and a gentleness of sorts. His voice had returned to that of Avanze, though a hint of Etnava could still be seen. This was all a little game he played often, especially with his female prey. He'd act like Avanze for a bit, being disgustingly gentle and nice, before regaining his control in less than a tick.
"Asen.... What happened? Why do you look like that?" He'd speak and react to things like the gentle giant, easily knowing what Avanze would do in every situation. Easy, only because he knew everything about his light Other, as Avanze knew everything about Etnava.
He raised his eyebrow slightly, bringing his arm up so that his hand would touch her chin lightly. Looking at her face, as if checking for bruises, he'd soon stop, a slight frown on his face. "Was it Etnava? What did he do? His eyes would start to look soft, as if he really were going to be nice now. Most people believed it easily enough, hugging him or at least staying close with a relieved expression. Though, some, the more observant ones, would watch him closely, not believing for a good chime or two.
It all depended on how one reacted. If the half-Dhani were to believe him, he'd give her a nice smile.... Before grabbing her all over again, this time holding her in front of him in a mockery of a friendly bear hug, his head down again so that he could whisper in her ear all the things that his mind could come up with, loving the feel of them unable to do anything in his grip. Though he has yet to meet one able to slip away from his crushing grasp, he's sure there are many people who knew how to escape him.
If she were to not believe him, to doubt the friendly expression on his face, he'd listen to what she had to say. People always had something to say when they doubted. After they were finished, he'd nod, as if he actually cared (which he didn't) and lunge at them, knocking her to the floor. He'd usually stay down on the floor with them, holding them as a lover holds the object of his love next to him on a bed. Or, he'd just stand over them, watching as he made them do one thing or another without getting up.
All depended on how his mood at the moment.Tukant | Common | Avanze Thoughts | Etnava Thoughts
She could breathe a sigh of relief, finally. After Etnava had tightened his grip Asen stood on the balls of her feet, trying to get away from his grasping hand.
Now, however, it seemed that the control had passed back to Avanze. She relaxed, resting her head on the spot above the Akalak's solar plexus.
The half-Dhani's chin was tilted upwards so she stared up into the face of the light brother. He was tender, almost as if he were faking it. She frowned, squinting slightly.
Maybe it was just what he did, after Etnava took hold of the body. She pushed the doubt to the back of her mind, frown disappearing.
"He... Nothing. It's fine now. Just keep 'im under control from now on," she told him, "An' next time, tell someone exactly how bad he is. Don't let 'em find out themselves," she hissed, moving away to climb out of the hotsprings.
She stood beside the water, pushing her wet hair out of her eyes. The squire opened her mouth to reprimand Avanze further when she was knocked onto her back by the very same person. The air in her lungs disappeared with the impact, and her chest heaved with the effort of reinflating the organs.
She writhed in his grasp as the Akalak held her. Asen was unable to breathe, let alone scream. She clawed at his arms, throat working like a fish out of water. Her fingers closed into a fist and she pounded at her captor's body, adding some terror-filled kicks to the mix.
Petchin' liar! I can't breathe, I can't breathe... Siku help me. Gods, help me. Makutsi, Laviku, anyone! Please!
