Are there any 'slums' of sorts in Lhavit, or at least shady areas for those who do dark deeds? Most of the crime in Lhavit is very high class. I can't really find a spot that someone with Malediction could fit snugly into. Everything is a little too perfect in that sense.

Malediction does not fit in at all with Lavit, and there are no slums or seedy parts of the city. The Shinya make sure the only crime that happens is either so small it is easily stamped out or high class and very sneaky to the point that it is not even noticeable. There are no locations that cater to malediction, and of all the magics maledictions is probably looked down after Leeching.
