Jhui Kalintao "Attempting to imitate me will always end in complete and utter failure." "First appearances deceive many." 001. Appearance Date of Birth: 27th, Fall, 492 AV Race: Akalak Gender: Male Profession: Unemployed Fluent: Tukant Poor: Common Basic: Kontinese Height: 6'7" Weight: 167 lbs. Skin Color: Aqua Possessing the same aqua colored skin his father has, Jhui looks as young as he is. While considerably taller than males of other races, he's somewhat average next to his brethren. The days of hard, grueling training he does while he controls the body has sculpted him into a hard young man, wiry muscles and lean, built for speed like a panther. While there have been multiple opportunities to bulk up like his father, who is quite huge, Jhui likes to keep lightweight and quick. Tal cares not how their body looks, as long as they don't lose a piece of themselves, whether it be a finger or a leg. His eyes are a bright, yet cold blue color, lighter than his skin yet oddly beautiful and peaceful, despite his hard life. His jaw is slim, with a rather strong chin, courtesy of his father. Most of his looks are from his dad; except his eyes, nose, and silver hair come from his mother, who is quite beautiful. His teeth white, he can usually be found with a grin on his handsome face, whether it be Jhui or Tal in charge. His face rarely contorts with anger, as it takes a lot to set either of them off. Should they be pushed over the edge, one can't find an uglier adversary, yet oddly beautiful in his rage. He's got a deep, apathetic voice for one so young, yet his tone betrays a hint of his friendly nature. Tal usually speaks slowly, seeing as he likes to use big words so that he appears smart, no matter if he is holding his brother's halberd when interrupting a training session. "My brother and I are very different, yet very much alike." 002. Personality Likes: Stuff. Dislikes: Certain things. Ethics: I don't explain myself. Jhui is considered the "light brother", but that doesn't say anything about his personality. He's not exactly cruel; just cold-hearted, though with an odd sense of humor, and his halberd gives him the dramatic flair that he likes. He gives not a care for anyone nor anything, and believes everyone would be better off fetching his things. Unless they do show him a good reason otherwise. Other than that, they are no more than scum barely worthy to lick the bottom of his boot. Don't take this the wrong way; he's not one to torture, kill people, or do any other nasty things to another being just for "fun". He just sees everyone as unworthy unless proven otherwise. And it takes a lot to prove otherwise. Tal is considered the "dark brother" of the relationship, but he is much like Jhui, though very much different. Crueler than Jhui, but also showing a tad more leniency when considering someones worth, complete with the odd sense of humor Jhui possess with a sense of dramatic flair, he's a quiet one. Mostly only talking to Jhui, and not one for taking control of the body, he likes scholarly pursuits, though his love is mostly centered around the darker arts. He's one for the magic arts; his main goal is becoming a greatly feared and renowned Warlock. While neither really likes the other, their goals are very much alike and make them work together, each helping the other to become a powerful soul. Jhui allows Tal to take over more times than other Akalak; one day Jhui possess control of the body, the next Tal, and so on. Seeing as Tal nor Jhui are exactly "evil" per say, neither needs to worry about the other making enemies. "Not many know my story. Be happy you know my name." 003. History Jhui is the first and only son to an Akalak and Konti couple, who are now residing in Syliras. His dark brother, Tal, came about while Jhui was quite young, around 1 or 2 years of age, and from the start, they couldn't be told apart, as they acted much the same. While at that age, neither wanted nothing more than to run around and play as children, it was already becoming apparent that Jhui was the more aggressive of the two, and Tal the more scholarly. Jhui could usually be found sparring with Akalak older than himself, training diligently with his halberd a smith made for him until he could make a Lakan of his own. Tal, on the other hand, could be found with a book in hand, usually reading up on the subject of Hypnotism. Tal was quite obsessed with the trappings of the mind, Jhui on physical strength and prowess. Tal is steadily working on and improving his Hypnotism, which is fueled by his mother, who also knows much of the magic art. It is who he learned it from; his mother was quite versed in the magical arts. Jhui's combat skills going the same, thanks to his dad and a lot of other older Akalak, who he trains with whenever he can, save for those days he thinks he deserves off. While everyone, even themselves, know that the pair would be quite synchronized earlier than most due to their good compatibility, they do tend to fight over who gets control of the body. They're usually pretty good about things that concern them both, and neither is in control of the body longer than the other, which makes them a lot different from other younger Akalak, though quite alike with older ones. When Jhui and Tal were around twenty years of age, the couple and their son moved to Syliras for new sights. They found Riverfall becoming slightly boring, especially the couple: Jhui's mother was coming on one hundred and fifty years of age, his father around two hundred, the both of them having lived their all their lives. |
