Greeting!

Hello players of Endrykas, I just wanted to introduce myself and get to know some of your better! I am Tribal and as the new AS of Endrykas (and The Sea of Grass), I will be working alongside Gossamer to insure that Endrykas becomes a lively city full of exciting adventures and opportunities for all!

I would love to hear some of your ideas and goals for your characters for this and the following season. I prefer to stay ahead and would like to put a seasonal calendar together for you, so, for the next few days I will be paying close attention to any and all of your ideas listed here, or, if you prefer, feel free to send me a private message (PM).

I will also be putting together a nice little weather chart for you so that threads across the board remain consistent in this area. None of us like writing out a sunny day on the 5th of summer only to find someone else has mentioned that it was raining cats and dogs.

As of August 6th I would like to start a moderated thread for anyone that is interested. I will be accepting ideas for this as well. If you would like to be involved in the thread, let me know via PM and I will keep you updated on the status on our official first adventure together! For the next two weeks I am more than happy to play a small role in a thread if you need an NPC played for training, fighting, bartering, etc. I will, however, be away from the 14th of July, so anything I don’t finish by then I promise to pick up as soon as I return in August.

Goals for Endrykas

Grading: Increasing turnover in the Grading request thread so that players don’t have to wait longer than a month for their threads to be graded. I’m planning on dreaming up some kind of award for the top Grader in our area with attention to detail, well written lore, and leaving a kind, constructive comment for the writers.

Seasonal Calendar: I know some of you have already asked about this. Over the next five days is your chance to have your say! I can’t promise that everything you dream up will be included, but I will do my best to work with your ideas. Click here to see what ideas have already been listed or considered. Please note this list is only in the planning stages and will need to be finalised by Gossamer.

Weather Chart: Will be up within a week from the time of this post. Click here to see what is planned. Please note this has not been finalised.

Seasonal Goals: As we're already a month into summer writing time, I have put together a list of easy goals to achieve should you care to earn the Endrykas Summer Badge for 515 AV. This list needs to be finalised by Gossamer before you start writing these goals. Click here to read more.

Moderated Threads: My goal is three per season. I will do my best to make sure there are at least two by the end of summer! Again, your ideas are more than welcome!

Link Map: Long term goal to clean this up and make sure everything is clear and easy to follow. I plan to do some location development, so keep an eye out for that!

Expect random appearances in your threads from now on. I like to shake things up for your characters from time to time and get to know what makes them tick.

• Caves (old paintings guarded by the Underwatch)
• World's End (sinking sand pit used to sacrifice intruders)
• The Hot Rocks (a hang out for the Ixam)
• Whistlers Pass (a holy place)

If you are unsure about your character's current job or wage, please make sure you have a. filled out a job or wage form in the correct place, and b. included the appropriate threads, or complete the right prerequisites (2500 words, etc). If you're still having trouble, let me know.

77th - A strange silver treasure-chest appears on the morning of the 77th. When you look inside, the chest appears to be empty. No amount of strength can move or lift the chest. When you place something inside the chest and close the lid, you will open it to find a gift. Not all gifts are as pleasant as they first appear, while others are invaluable.

77th - This thread will be watched closely. You choose whatever you want to place in the box and I will respond with the gift awarded to your character in a single post for each character involved in the thread.

Rules for the event on the 77th are as follows:

1. Thread must contain [Silver Chest Event] in the title somewhere.
2. The thread can be a solo or completed with a friend.
3. Anyone can join this event and make their own thread.
4. You choose what goes into the box and I will tell you in a single post what comes out.
5. Your thread must be at least 1500 words long
6. Have fun!
