Spent the day on the hunt, with a peculiar young human by name of Tao. He seems to be rather shy, and has a talent for herbalism and cooking. After a much futility, I found my quarry in a cave hidden beneath the shadow of a great stone tooth, roughly 6 leagues SE from Lhavit. I am currently waiting for it to be lulled into sleeps sweet arms, to prevent a struggle.

Also, note to self: Ensure <blood-ancestor-records> is returned by return to the city.
