Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Returning to civilisation and reintegrating with society was proving more difficult than Neiva had originally anticipated - and she had anticipated it to be quite difficult. After her little venture outside for her household necessities, Neiva had spent the last few days sightseeing and navigating her bearings by using all the wonders within Mura as landmarks to find her way around. A number of those days, however, had also been spent locked within her single roomed cottage. Her persisting night-terrors, sometimes too emotionally staggering, would on occasion leave Neiva without much energy for exploring. And so she would simply sit upon her bed and peer out her window to the sea, until a creative tangent over took her and she would scribble nonsensical charcoal drawings in the book she had bought. Although she remained quite proud of her squiggly lines, that to her were the waves of the sea, others would merely look upon her drawings as if they had been crafted from the hands of a child.
To have time to herself to do what she wanted, when she wanted and for it not to be consumed with chores, or fear, or fighting to survive; Neiva found it quite difficult to make the days go in. That's when she decided it was time she found herself an occupation to keep her mind from dark thoughts of the past and to help her bring herself to a more fruitful future. But with no experience in deciding her own fate, in making her own decisions, she felt lost and the mountain of possibilities available to her frightened her with new nightmares. She needed guidance. With Rak'keli being the only divine she felt a kinship with,it was upon this day that Neiva found herself at the doors to The South Tower.

The calm atmosphere and serene silence of the Opal Temple was a comfort that made Neiva feel as though she was truly at home. It felt safe, protective; a treasure Neiva held close to her heart, for it was a feeling she had not yet truly discovered since returning to her kin. As she took her first steps into the Cathedral, her eyes were flung wide, her mouth agape in sheer awe at the simplistic beauty of the circular room. The elegant glass windows illuminated every corner, every inch of the enormous room; shunning away the darkness, never letting a single shadow seep into the room. A small colored stone statue of Rak’keli resided at the opposite wall to where Neiva remained awe-stricken. The gracious, modestly dressed Goddess surrounded by a humble collection of candles and incense, was a wondrous sight. As Neiva's wide-eyed violet gaze tore her feet closer to the small statue of Rak'keli, her nostrils where overpowered with the aroma of burning incense and herbs. The scent tantalizing and pleasant brought a childlike smile to her lips as she breathed the calming aroma in deeply.
Pausing just before the small statue of her revered Goddess, Neiva could not tear her eyes away from the magnificent sight, as she slowly lowered herself to sit cross-legged on the floor. Ignoring the odd shuffle of priestesses and other visitors around her, Neiva closed her eyes and took a minute to humbly revel in the bizarre atmosphere of serene silence. It was perfectly calming. To just take a moment to clear her mind of all her worries and troubles and to concentrate on the sweet scents all around, it was tantalizing! Neiva could feel her inner-soul sigh in relief, as the memories of her past temporarily released their painful grasp. Her chest falling and rising in a rhythm similar to that of the state of rem, she could feel herself drifting. This was her sanctuary, her safe haven, the only place and the only time Neiva felt truly at peace - and she never wanted to leave. Her heart yearned to remain in this state of peacefulness, yet her mind knew she would have to go, that she would have to wake.

That's when the epiphany struck! Sucking in a sharp breath, Neiva's eyes flung open wide. Her violet gaze once more settling upon the divine statuesque-figure of Rak'keli. What if she could find a way to come back here, every day? What if she found a job here? What if she became a pledge-ling of the Opal Order, like her mother was before her? The rush and thrill of this new possibility filled Neiva with what she could only think was happiness. She would be able to fulfill her every desire - her drive to help others, to walk in the footsteps of her mother and to become truly worthy of the Gnosis bestowed upon her. It would give her purpose, give her peace and most importantly, would help in freeing her from the pains of her past.

Notes: Hello again, Neiva. I really like how well edited your threads are, it makes them very easy to read! In future, try to describe Neiva doing things rather than ‘telling’ us what she had done in the last few days (thought that is absolutely fine), you will get more skill points for showing rather than telling, though on this occasion I decided to award you. I hope you find everything here is in order! Keep up the good work! Let me know if you think I have missed anything here and be sure to edit your grading request!
