Aerges Frostfawn

Appearance

Race: Vantha
Gender: male
Age: 13
Birthday: 16, Fall, 501
Birthplace: Avanthal

Appearance: Aerges is a shorter boy of 5'3", and weighs no more than 128 lbs. Despite his small frame, he is very strong and nimble for his age. His skin is a sallow olive color, and a thin jawline pairs with high cheekbones. His hair is a cool, soot black, and falls in unison length to the bottom of his shoulder blades. His thick, black eyebrows stop short on his face, ending at the middle of his eyelids.

In neutrality, Aerges' eyes shine a brilliant violet luster, and his eye shape resembles feline features. His only issue, however, is his progressively dwindling sight. When experiencing mild emotions of any kind, Aerges' violet iris' turn to a soft aquamarine. When experiencing the most intense of emotions, usually fear or anger, Aerges' iris' sharply flip over to a piercing golden hue.

Character Concept

Aerges' life is ruled by fear. Fear fuels his certainty, his anger, anything that could be remotely triggered by fear. This mindset began when he learned of his father's role in the Icewatch. This was further accentuated by drastic changes in his life, most being negative. Currently, it has had a permanent impact on his socialization and overall view of others, whether well known or not.

Character History

Aerges was born three weeks mature, due to his mother being sick upon labor. Aerges grew up with a sister, mother, father and uncle. Aerges' mother was usually sick, and the strange illness could not be determined by those at Whitevine. Therefore, Aerges grew up with the belief that his mother was born that way, and it was considered normal for her.
Throughout his life, his father taught him the ways of surviving in the wilderness, as well as his skills in animal husbandry. Animal husbandry, however, was not something that Aerges grew fond of. He often found himself among the children at the Winterflame hold. He enjoyed watching the adults cook, and playing with the boys and girls of his age.
When Aerges was 9 years of age, he lost his mother to Puerperal Fever, and was devastated. This had a resounding affect on the family, and not long after, Aerges' sister got married and moved to a different hold. Aerges believed she used her love for a close friend as a way to remove herself from the grief of her family.
During Aerges' transition into pre adolescent years, his father sustained an attack from a beastly predator. This permanently ruined one of his legs. After being rejected job after job for his handicap, Aerges' father left, due to feeling inadequate. This put Aerges and his uncle in a poor situation, and as time wore on, his uncle grew weaker.
Seeing they could no longer support themselves nutritionally, Aerges resorted to stealing food to keep them alive. Of course, at times his close friends from Winterflame would help when they could. When they couldn't help, Aerges felt abandoned by his friends, thinking they truly didn't care.
As his respect for the Winterflame dwindled, so did his positive reputation with them. He had been caught off chance twice, and been reported once. Upon hearing that, his uncle sold the house and their belongings, and they made their way to Lhavit.

Upon arriving in Lhavit, Aerges was 12 years of age, and left with the money from his sold house. His uncle didn't make it during the trip, and Aerges from then on was considered an orphan. [WILL BE EXPANDED UPON]
