22nd Summer 515 AV The Konti was taking a quiet stroll in the streets of Syliras. It was late afternoon and the summer sun was no longer very strong. All around her, people proceeded with their days, seeing if they could sell the last of their wares. The Konti was staring at certain fruit stall when suddenly, a young boy's voice shouted across the street. "Miss Healer! Miss Healer!" Nira'lia turned her head with curiosity and saw a young boy running to her. His face was familiar -- he was one of the many squires that she had seen training before. He was running as fast as he could and took an abrupt stop just a few steps away from her. The boy took a moment to catch his breath. He was red in the face and his sweaty hair clung to his face. "What is it...?" the Konti asked softly, though worry was displayed in her expression. "Come quick..." he panted. "There was an accident... i-in the Bronze Woods, about thirty chimes from the gates... we need you!" Without really waiting for a valid reaction from her, the boy suddenly grabbed her arm and started to pull. Nira'lia froze for a moment as he touched her, and then realized he was wearing gloves which meant her visions would not come. The young squire pulled, not even deciding to recuperate his exhaustion, which made Nira'lia realize that this accident might be a very serious one. "I-I don't even have my bag with me! What happened?" Nira'lia asked, even if she was already being dragged along. "We don't have time for that!" the squire responded quickly. "I don't know how the man is doing either, or what injuries he sustained, because they made me run here to get a healer right away... you will just need to follow me!" Nira'lia, slightly annoyed, nodded. She realized she wouldn't be getting any more valid information from him. He was in a state of panic and couldn't even tell her what exactly the accident was. |
